So many are trying to convert army into solo stans(specifically this week), I wanted to show my pipeline from solo to army.

Since solo stans are so looked down and most posts I see from them usually "I was army now I am solo stan". I thought I would give you all a look at my journey and also a perceptive that not all solo stans are bad. Toxic ones are in each fandom solo and group.

Was first introduced to bts via carpool karaoke. Liked the episode but that was it . I have been fangirl all my life - MJ, Britney, nsync, Westlife, backstreet boys, 1d, Rihanna, Taylor swift plus few regional artists as I am from asia. Adele till now is my ult, and then Jungkook joined her. Came across Jungkook at FIFA. It just sparked my Interest. By dec 2022, I was his solo, consuming everything I could find of Jungkook. I was downloading weverse, watching his tiktok reels, acapella videos. His album solidified in me that he will go far and is an artist I will follow for years. his raw vocals just always levitate me, I listen to into the sun acapella from his madrid weverse live at least 5 times a day right now. I had never seen in last few years any famous singer singing without a microphone. You know how raw vocals are just so rare. He just solidified himself as my 2nd ult after Adele. Then his personality was cherry on top. His loyalty to group made me look at him with different eyes. I will follow this mans career till he has grandkids.

when JK went to military , I thought let me go through run bts episodes, I had already gone through live performances and some concert clips. Run bts was so entertaining, so I just binged the heck out of it. Still called myself only Jungkook fan. What was the turning point for me,it was that I became a jinkook bias. I know Jin is my wrecker in kpop terms, but I don't like that term personally so I call him as my bias and jungkook as my ult bias.

Jin's fun personality is what drew me to him but it was the little glimpses when he was serious which intrigued me. I still love the in the soop flinging quote from him. then I started observing him more and more. all the small things he did for members, his humor and how he really boosted mood when needed. I like that he protects his peace by being as private as he his. I like how he knows when to save members in public setting using humor. His vocals in epiphany and background solidified his bias status for me.

then I thought if I like two members, I should look into others more keenly too. that just made full fledged army. Now I have found different things I like about other 5 members.

I love how jimin bosses BTS members and is a stage medussa with his dance, love his love for science videos as a fellow nerd. His personality is my fav after jinkook. So warm and naughty.

I love how tae is quirky at times and mogs everyone effortlessly. As an introvert, I love his extrovert side so much. Love that he is a menace at times and has the best ideas out there.

I love hobi dance leader persona so much, those judgemental videos always get me. He was the last person to grow on me as i could not relate to me with some over the top laughs. Can you believe now those things make me the most happy now.

Yoongi is my fellow introvert who i can sit with and not say a word too. I relate to him so much, on how he shows love via acts of service. Personally he is my fav writer and producer in the group.

RM was very difficult for me to understand as what i saw in 2023 was someone trying to find himself without BTS leadership. I admire his brain and deep lyrics. How he is still a student at heart. We both share love of books.

With all the CB situation, I am done with two types of people

1. RM and hobi biases who are supporting them for being at the concert. Some are even blaming hybe for it... These men willingly smiled with CB for a pic.

2. Jin, yoongi and jimin stans who are gloating in each comment section online right now. You are behaving worse than antis. The constant rubbing that your bias is safe is just childish. Mind you except Jin , everyone in BTS has had multiple controversies.

Honorable mention - stupid people who want to give black ocean to BTS, just stay at home and sell your tickets. Black ocean is anti sh*t. Btw bts already knows everything online. So If they have not addressed this till now, they will not address this after black ocean also.

I was thinking many new fans of Jungkook have come during arirang era and after FIFA. I have some recommendations for them, maybe aside from group content and tiktok edits. I checked reddit if there was something like this for him, could not find.

Something light hearted after the two days we have had.

I am an enlistment army, I was JK fan since fifa 2022, but deep dived into BTS after he left for military . So I never saw the solos live performances as they were happening, except for hobi and Jin concerts.

Now that kpop coachella has started, I would like Jungkook and yoongi to take part in some festivals after the arirang tour is over. I know hobi is also up there but he already does it. I know I would love to have some bts members show what solo powerhouses they are as people are forgetting 2023. when that news came out about kpop festival in dec , I remembered jks times square and yoongis psy festival performances. I know jks wants solo concert but that is not happening soon , so as an alternative I would like some festival performances as I am missing his solo performances so much. Yoongi needs to give me Agustd as what I saw was amazing.

Which member are you interested and what kind of stage performance would you like them to perform. My assumption is early 2028 we see some solo work again. And tour ending by 2027 festa.

It is all hypothetical, no they are not disbanding, sometimes one just wants solo performances also.

I have seen many fandoms posting in grammys and kpop subs how winning major categories was never in bts hands and that it is not a big deal for BTS.

Let us not be rage baited. I have seen many army's also going in meltdown over these comments. Kpop fandoms will boast about this till next Grammys and use this as a bait. If bts is not giving engagement to grammys , we should not give engagement to these antis.

I will say stick to the BTS subs for few days, also during the nominations and the ceremony.

I don't think I will post this in Bangtan subs. They will say that I am being parasocial. But do you think jungkook did his lives this week because he knew that Grammys announcement was coming. I always feel some of his livestreams timing sometimes are there to boost army's morales . Like 2022 post festa one, last year 1 week marathon because some so called army's were complaining that there was no official content by bts . He did the same with his hair pre miltary, long to short as he neared his enlistment. If so, then I really appreciate that he thought about us fans like that. I could be totally wrong , just thinking aloud .

Now days I am finding I have changed and having hard time giving honest opinion in my fandom spaces about members.

Everyone has biases and some are just over hyped for wrong reasons. During a recent group comeback and concerts, I have seen certain members are taking all the kudos from the fandom. Suddenly everyone thinks their biases are main vocalist or rapper material( what those members usually are good with is like dancing, visuals or interactions with audience). So when a live performance happened and some were not upto the par, everyone rushed to the defense after online criticism.

Very common in kpop , but I realized something, I used to be frank in my opinions. Now I feel after defending my ult group so much in general kpop spaces that I am not giving my honest opinion in fandom subreddit. All I want to say freely is "no your bias has not improved, they just have loud backtrack". "No he is not the best , he is just best looking that you forget about his mistakes on stage", "no, that is shouting, not rapping, he is not a rapper". But I can't seem to say it as people always say you are an anti or not ot5, ot7 or ot8.

Anyone able to overcome this?

With so much effort being put in release of normal, I think there is no way we are getting a new world cup song. I am feeling a little disappointed as I wanted a new upbeat song for summer from BTS. It also means they are going to perform Normal right as it is releasing in the same week of world cup? I know they have not performed till now and I may be wrong. I really don't know what is bighit doing releasing normal at the time of world cup performance.

BTS has a big established fanbase in Europe. But what Madrid has proved to me is that bighit should have more shows there. USA is really getting a lot of shows, which has been consistent since 2018.

I am sure it is not the money reasons alone as we know army's will spend a lot on BTS anywhere they go. Specially Europe is not well behind in fan spending . Bts has been in uk charts and other local charts.

Is it the logistics issue or entertainment laws. What could be the reason for such less tour dates in Europe compared to USA .

Same goes for south America. I won't even say anything about south east Asia or africa.

Bighit needs to capitalize on new countries tour dates. Many new fans come after tour.

Also, Why is BTS always surprised that fans from other countries like mexico and spain know the lyrics.

As this is a neutral space, I thought why not talk about this. People may not agree or like this, but I don't love/like every BTS performance

1. Ellen show - fake love ( hated camera man, vocals were also shaky)

2. Crosswalk james corden.. I just felt it was forced from both sides.

3. any Dionysus performance , it is too fast choreo at times, looks messy. I hate the transitions in it.

In September, it is usually fashion week. We know they shoot the campaigns in advance. jungkook came back from japan I don't know may be more than 2 days after his event. Do you think we will get a new campaign. He has already had so many campaigns with them this year. Frankly my wallet is lighter .. it will be good for ck and jk . Also do you think he will attend the fashion show. Last year was his first time.
