Casting Improved Haste on a two-handed sword using Berserker. I haven't run into anything he can't take down yet.
Maybe this combo is old news, as I know people consider Haste to be extremely good already. But I find this endlessly entertaining.
Played Icewind Dale on CD ROM as a kid but never got too far. As an adult who has a better grasp on D&D I am loving every second of it. My party is currently descending into Dorn's Deep. Now that my characters have built some personality and I've grown attached to them I decided to write up some quick bios for them and cobbled together some info sheets to share with friends. Hope you all enjoy!
I am visiting Cleveland in early October and am planning to do a day at Cedar Point during the trip. I talked to someone from the park on the phone and they let me know that some rides may be closed due to lower staffing outside of the summer. She could not give me any indication on what percentage of rides might be closed or which ones specifically might be closed/open. I'm hoping some locals who have been to the park in late september/early October could give me any more information.

I am not asking for specific answers on what exactly will be open/closed on an exact day, as I know this is against the group rules. Just a general idea of what percentage rides are regularly closed or operational during the approximate time.

Doing a turkey to work out the kinks in advance of Thanksgiving. It was a lot of work but damned if it wasn't worth it.

Bucket brined for two days, dry brined for one.

Olive oil and kinders cowboy butter rub.

Injected with butter/broth mix.

Smoked at 250, then into 400 degree oven in the pan with broth/onions/garlic/aromatics.

Blended the everything left in the pan after the meat came out and let it run in the crock pot. Strained it. The leftover broth goes CRAZY.

Total pain in the ass. Can't wait to do it again.
Did up some pork, beef, and veggies for a chili to take camping. Just got a smoke tube and took that for a whirl, it made a huge difference in improving the smoke flavor!
