Mexico has too many celebrities

People are saying how much better it is than Italy but so for I’m not sure.
They had too many celebrities and interviewed them a lot more than the other contestants even though they got eliminated pretty early.
I’m on episode 5 and I don’t recognize anyone who is moving forward.
I really like rooting for athletes through the whole game but who are these guys? That Luchador who was out in the first challenge had more interview time than the top contenders.

this is araki's best emotional work

in parts, we usually get a character reflecting on their life. But the flashback, or what they're talking about, is shown during the reflection. Araki has been posing these questions throughout the entire section. How do the characters feel about this? Does Jodio accept himself or try to run away from his mental illness??

It's so satisfying to see that Jodio's obsession with moving forward is his way of making sense of his personality disorder and tethering himself to the "right path"

so it's the same type of stand as november rain

i have a feeling these two are going to clash!! Maybe stand bullet barrage??

I've seen fans talk about the volume mentioned being linked to the one where King Crimson attacks for the very first time and the gang has to go into hiding...

That would have been the place where someone is betrayed!!!

it seems John Rod has put our heroes in the same position they put Howler! Perhaps at the final act, they will both be at zero and fighting to become one! Following the theme that there can only be one on top.

i suspect it will be John Rod who kills more group members than howler, 100% dragona.

this guy was looking at eclipse 8

One of the Marines looked at Eclipse 8 and moved away from Howler when the mist started. Then at the end, they had their gun pointed but didn't shoot. is this the enemy stand user!!???

chapter 2 fights are so boring and unfair

Most of the time i won't draw the one card I need to actually start playing, and then i wait turn after turn with my dick in my hand until i die like a jackass. I'm suprised this was made by the same guy as chapter one, this is unplayably boring, unplayably ugly looking, unplayably dull. I get that it's supposed to be a shitty video game, but why, though? Why can't it look halfway decent or have a mildly fun gameplay loop. it's so intuitive that i was always surprised when i won a fight instead of relieved. Like I'd just shrug and go to the next mini boss standing around like king of the hill

edit: okay okay you guys were right it does get better once you mix up your deck. no where near as fun as ch 1 but pretty satisfying

is O'Reilly responsible for every death in season 1

https://preview.redd.it/ce3pvb1ws6bh1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a7fa18512d7badf8505012bee84a0fe13ff50d7

It rally seems like there would have been relative peace on multiple occasions if not for O'Reilly losing a card game and getting his bookie wacked or pulling strings to murder someoone then getting everyone who helped him killed for inconveniencing him.

O'Rielly isn't sadistic but he might be the most evil character in the show simply because of how many times he kills people just as they are starting to grow as a person.

[meta] DC executives whenever a wonderwoman project is in the works

there is something elemental about the character. Batman is genuinely mythic; most other superheroes aren't. I wish she would be given a chance to shine but I also can't point to a batman project out now i would trade in for a wonderwoman project. batwheels? Does Batwheels count?

chapter 37 predictions

i think we are going to have a very part 5 Escu fight. Jodio is the least affected by the stand's ragebaiting and is going to lead the gang by example. Jodio will end up building some kind of genuine connection with at least one person. planting the seed that real wealth is in connections, but Jodio won't realize that yet. Oor Jodio crosses a line that he can't uncross; it can really go either way.

jodio characterization

I really like how finally we get a look at Jodio's inner self. It's always felt intentional how he fights. calmly walking forward/ like a predator stalking his prey.

And now it makes sense. He's not filled with heroic convictions like say, Jotaro and the lot; he wants to hurt people and is looking for an outlet. i think that's why the phrase "absurd" always gets his attention. It's like Dexter's rules, something to direct his destructiveness towards.
