31/07/26 - Log 4

Team Sky Grunt Sooble.

After my victory in the Battle Theatre, I went to Galvanite Cave (Image 1) to get the Stunning Flash app on my Loomiwatch. I forgot to mention this on my first log, but i've had it since I arrived here. I don't know where it came from, but it seems to be necessary to be a trainer in this place.

That aside, in the cave, I came across some person, who the people guarding the cave somehow mistook for me. Seemed like he wanted to use the crystal to "go back home". Why doesn't he just fly there?

After I beat him in a battle, he just left. Didn't even tell us his name, saying it was unimportant. Finally Naya arrived to sort the rest out.

The cavern is apparently "at the heart of a very powerful energy source whose veins run throughout southern Roria". At least that's what Naya said. Seems hard to believe that one crystal could power an entire city for a century.

But I finally got the app and I can progress to Route 4. Apparently there's strong energy readings coming from there, probably another tablet chunk.

Before that, I went back to Gale Forest to get rid of that black wall I mentioned in my second log. Along the way, I encountered a Loomian called Wispur (Image 3) in the Dense Fog. It floats, so I caught it.

I'll update my progress through Route 4 tomorrow

Before I even left Cheshma town, I ran into a group of 3 (Image 1) who appeared to be forced out of a school. Judging by what the teacher said, I predict they were expelled. They didn't seem to care much, quoting that the only reason they were there was because Mabel (Middle girl, Image 1)'s mother forced her in, and they only came along to support their friend.

The other two are Lucy (Left girl, Image 1) and Lucas (Right boy, Image 1). They could be this region's evil team, as they said something about the only way to win battles is through sheer strength, though I also doubt it as these might be the only members, and the teacher told me Mabel didn't even have a Loomian.

Apparently the max Loomian team size is 7, with 2 being benched, earning EXP without participating in battle. As I mentioned in my first log, almost everything's different here.

I made my way through Route 2 (Image not included because it basically has nothing) and Route 3 (Image 2) before finally making it to Silvent City (Image 3) and challenging the Battle Theatre

Battle Theatres are similar to gyms in Galar, where you battle infront of an audience and have to clear puzzles before fighting a gym trainer, similar to a gym challenge you have to complete before you fight the gym leader.

In Silvent City's Battle Theatre's case, you have to light up all the squares (Image 4) before fighting a gym trainer to progress, the third trainer being the Battle Star, basically the gym leader.

Addmitedly, I lost the first 2 attempts. Having 2 Loomians with 1 being underleveled when you're supposed to have a full team doesn't really bode well in your favor. It's made even worse with the Battle Star, Naya (Image 5) specializing in Light and Dark loomians.

Since Count is a dark type Loomian and the Loomian I relied on the most for this Battle Theatre, Light being super effective against Dark doesn't really help. Yes, Dark is also super effective against Light but Count's only Dark type move currently is Dive Bomb, which missed quite a lot of the time for me.

After losing the second time, I went back to Gale forest to train, getting Count to Level 18 and evolving into Dimpire and getting Heather to Level 16 and evolving into Paratweet. The next attempt was really easy and I beat the Battle Theatre, obtaining the Harmony Medal (Image 6). Yes, there are Medals instead of Gym Badges.

Now I can get Stunning Flash to get rid of the goop wall back in Gale Forest, though I have to follow Naya to the cave back in Route 3. I'll update how it goes in the next blog.

Team Sky Grunt Sooble. I'm sending another log.

The person who claimed to be my father asked me to collect the tablet chunks that, as I mentioned in my previous log, were scattered around the region.

Usually I wouldn't accept something like this, but I have a suspicion that the text on it could help me get back to the real world, as it changed as soon as I arrived here.

After going through Route 1 and Cheshma Town (Image 1), I went to the nearby forest Gale Forest (Image 2). Once I got there, some old guy was talking to 2 police officers about how he was attacked by "Loomians possessed by an evil spirit".

He also said something about the forest's guardian spirit, Duskit, being behind it. After the police officers left, he asked me to investigate. I accepted his request but wasn't planning on actually doing it.

After reaching the end of the forest, I finally found the first tablet chunk (Image 3), and then I was attacked by aforementioned Duskit (Image 4). Turns out the old man wasn't talking nonsense, and Duskit was corrupted by something. Seems like the tablet piece was the culprit.

For a Guardian Spirit, it wasn't a challenge, Count (Image 5) defeated it all on his own. It turned back to normal after the battle and just... left.

There was a sort of weird black wall that I couldn't get through, and the person who claimed to be my father (I really need to learn his actual name) said that I might be able to remove the wall after unlocking an ability from the Silvent City Battle Theatre, so that will be my next stop.

Team Sky Grunt Sooble. I was making my way through a patrol and found myself... here.

I have no idea how I ended up here, but I'm in a place known as Roria, specifically in a place known as Mitis Town (Image 1)

After looking around, I found a person who claimed to be my father, despite me not knowing who the hell he was. He was investigating a strange tablet with stranger writings (Image 2), before it broke into pieces and scattered around the region.

The person then brought me to a lab, where another person who claimed to be my mother worked. Again, I have no clue who either of these people are. Though she did give me a pokemon- I mean Loomian.

Everything's so different in this place. Instead of Pokemon, there are Loomians. Instead of Pokeballs, there are Capture Disks (Image 3). Instead of Gyms, there are Battle Theatres. Even the battle style is slightly different, energy replacing PP (Image 4).

Even types are different. I caught a Loomian known as a Twittle (Image 6) on Route 1, and it was an Air type instead of a Flying type. I'd still say it's close enough to the flying type.

I'll still be sticking with the code, although I am not sure what Loomians there are that follow it. I'll do as best as I can.

I'll continue my investigations tomorrow and post my findings. I'm going to find a way back.

Also, I did NOT expect this to get so popular so quickly. I'll keep trying to post daily with updates and allowing people to suggest what to add.
