How to "appear" not weird, when you are weird

Context: Hello , I am weird, or at least I have been called weird a load of time, I had friendships in the past that ended badly for me, I'm ok with that now, but since I put myself in situations where I am used , I stopped and I don't want to have any friendships, I'm really cool with that, I like reading, I used to work in STEM and now trying to build something for myself, working keeps me company. Now that I have a smiling little boy, the small interactions I have with others seem "off" for me, and I wanted to know if you could offer tips and tricks, on how to act normal in small interactions, + plus, we are moving to a place where the downstairs neighbour is the same age as my son, I'm expecting (believe) they might become friends. If they do, I really don't know how to be polite and cordial with his mum, keeping the distance, without opening the door for any friendship.

I really don't know how to have small interactions, without over sharing, and being overly friendly whatsoever.

Question: How to have small and normal healthy interactions, with respect to social norms, and not leading to friendship?
