Main character for my comic Baited Cores (working title)

This comic is going to be a short practice comic so before you go down and say oh this is just (insert whatever game or series or anime), I am well aware of the unoriginal nature of this comic and potentially this design. I do not usually do sci-fi techy stuff, so bare with me.

Her working name is thirteen and she is a reliquary. Reliquaries are people who have the remains of saints implanted into their bodies. This is the source of their power along with the suit. Breaking or damaging the relic means they lose access to their abilities, so it is also an Achilles heal for reliquaries. Reliquaries are also not deemed human but can become human through dying in active duty, granting them sainthood.

Her design was supposed to convey her efficiency and no bs attitude as well as her lack of individuality as she does not see herself as anything but her work. Other reliquaries she works with will likely have extra pieces to their suits showing off their personality like unique hairstyles and colors as well as maybe wearing some scarves or gloves etc just things that make them individual.

So, for the background, it's set in a post-apocalyptic earth where these bio mechanical angelic looking beings are attacking humanity. The last remaining humans are within bunkers in cathedrals and churches and the wealthy in their own private bunkers ofc. The last defense against these entities is the reliquaries who are under the churches control.

Im trying not to spend too much time on details and making sense of things because the point of this is to make it happen no matter how bad it is. My goal is year was to make one comic, and I think I am more than capable.

Final designs options for Storm summer skin

This art is mine and drawn using CSP

I've got 7 picks, but only 1 will continue to get development and make it to the final designs. Please voice your opinions! It helps me make a choice.

Also, sorry if I've been spamming this so much, lol. I just trust storm mains more with their character than anyone else with this.

Sunshower Storm skin update

My last post got closed cause I forgot to mention it was my art lol so heres me saying THIS IS MY ART I CREATED IT ON CLIPSTUDIO PAINT.

So, I took some of the suggestions and made another prototype. I will be making 1 more, and then i'll be making the decision for which one to develop further.

The color variants will be one in black and yellow and maybe blue to match her most iconic colors. There will be a blue variant and then the orange sunset variant.

Im enjoying it so far. i just think it needs some edits as im not too happy with the beaded chain it feels like it's too simple, and this is meant to be a legendary.

Also, I need to remember to add the X somewhere. Probably on her earrings. And she will maybe have a tiara variant where she can have a similar one to her og designs.

Calling all storm mains to give me guidance on this summer skin concept.

So im entering a contest related to rivals where I just need to produce anything summer and rivals themed. I chose to make a summer skin for Storm. im calling Sunshower Storm (sunshower is when it rains and the sun is not clouded).

The color scheme will be very sunsety with some rain drop motifs in blues. Her highlight intro, which i will produce storyboards for, will have the sky turn cloudy, to which Storm will proceed to clear away the clouds, leaving the bright sun and remaining rain in the final shot as she basks in it.

The skin will also have a color variant in blue and another in idk what color yet.

On the second slide, you'll see my reference board.

So I ask you all:

Do these designs feel like Storm?

Which of these do you see yourself playing with?

Do you have any critiques or thoughts? (not about my skills, specifically about the designs.)

[Edit] SORRY I FORGOT TO FLIP THE REFERENCE BOARD LOL

How can I make my dream jewelry real?

I've never tried commissioning a custom piece, and quite frankly, I have trouble figuring out what I want, but I felt that getting the perspectives and insights of jewelers may help.

I've been wanting to get into getting more accessories in my wardrobe, and jewelry is one of many ways to accessorize. But all the men's jewelry is either boring or doesn't speak to me on a personal level. So the only solution is either thrifting vintage pieces or custom jewelry. So dear jewelry, how does the process go, what should I have ready and what would the costs be and the time it takes.

And if anyone wants to help me visualize some ideas, I'll be very happy to do so as I just can't quite figure out what I want. The only thing I do know is what components I would like. Such as gold because it compliments my skin and my favorite gems, which are pearl, larimar, amber, coral, and Padparadscha sapphires. And yes, im aware some of these are highly expensive and difficult to source. im just naming what I like, lol. I know I can't afford a Padparadscha, and the only way to ethically source coral is through buying vintage pieces.

[Discussion] How do I make my commission sheet look more professional?

Just updated lots of info and prices, and im just not sure how to make my sheet. I dont want to really do the whole sketch, lineart, flats, etc. Quite frankly, I think it's really annoying to have all these options when everyone gravitate towards the cheapest, most polished looking one (not shaming anyone, that's entirely valid) leaving all other options as decoration.

I want to advertise my comms without it. But I just dont know how to go about doing that, especially since that's all commissions ever. If Im getting commissioned I want to give the piece the quality it deserves and one thing ive noticed is I struggle to make commissions when theyre anything but full renders so I end up getting payed the cheaper options for the same quality. That's why I cut out all those middle options and focused on selling full renders.

How can you put this together into one or a few slides? If you wanna see the TOS, samples, or prices, I can dm you.
