Our protagonist deliberately wants to hide his identity, especially at the beginning of the game (which is why he seems generic). However, this changes when he goes to the shadow world. He ends up being "possessed" by a shadow that forces the awakening of his first persona, ultimately changing his appearance in this world.
This affects not only social links, but also creates a new dynamic, a kind of self-social link.
Because he hides and doesn't fully accept his identity, the MC would have a social link with himself (which would be represented by his form in the shadow world).
Throughout the game, he comes to accept himself and his identity ends up being "reborn".
You wake up back in your college days to change tour life, with all your memories and knowladge from your past life in your mind, but on the first full moon of the month, you end up turning into a werewolf and killing your roommate.
You discover that every full moon night, something will happen that will allow you to look at and contact with the moonlight, transforming into a dangerous werewolf.
You don't have any control of what you do while on werewolf form, you become superhuman in abilities and stuck into a perpetual beserk stage.
If you go into emotional turmoil or stress during a full moon (specially angry), it might acellerate the transformation further.
With this in mind, how you go in your daily life and adapt?
This hypothetical season would have 3 initial tribes in order to make this twist work.
In the first reward challenge/marooning challenge of the season, the winning tribe will recieve a choice- to either be on a isolated Camp of their own and have plentiful of resources (like water and fruit) or stay on a one world style Camp with another tribe, ensuring their social game early into the game BUT the rations they will recieve will be of one tribe (exemple: a Camp with 16 people will only recieve rations for a tribe of 8.)
If the winning tribe chooses one world type camp, they will get to pick a tribe to join them, the one who remains go to solo camp.
If the winner picks solo camp, the two runner ups will go to one world camp
