The above insta ad are some of the examples I saw in the protests. Based on in image alone I interpreted as them leading the protests instead of culling it. So I will go with the former interpretation of mine.

I constantly hear that many Hindu nationalists in many right wing subreddits do support Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation (at least they claim to). Liker influencer Ajeet Bharti putting down CJP protests as being anti-Pradham before it was cool to be so. He is now organizing the prortests against Reservations.

So my question is this: Why didn't any Right Wing, Hindu nationalist, did a Abhijit-Dipke and start a massive protests?

I have doubts about elections myself. But many Hindu nationalists don't. And going by election resuilts. Hindu have majority Hindu support. Sure you guys can believe that BJP is doing everything good. But that would be the spirit even this protest would've carried. That BJP is good, but it could've been better.

The issues are still right there. The disappointed people were right there. A massive majority of GenZ, like more than 70% of the people are your vote-bank. GenZ are the generation that made Bhajan Raves a massive trend to cash on. I am a left leaning progressive anti-theist, and I can assure you the moment this movement becomes irrelevant, 85% of them will return back to become pro-Modi and anti-muslim.

This would've already put BJP in backfoot. There wouldn't have been any 'Azadi', 'Jai Bheem' chants. No other political party would've tried to co-opt this protest. You couldve had a massive support support from Bollywood and other movie industry fraternity. The Right-Wing hindu nationalists could've covered Jantar Mantar, with bhagva flag, Jai-Shree-Ram chants, etc. This protest, just like Ram Janmbhoomi protests could've been a show of solidarity amongst all the castes. Abrahamics, Leftists and Ambedkarites won't even dare to join. There were news about temples being closed for protestors. This could've not even let the news spread and temples would've been open for you guys.

I also believe that the recents protests is not gonna help the opposition. But will also put a minor dent on BJP's votecounts. Hindu nationalists organizing protests could've avoided that vote loss and could've kept BJP in power.

So my question is this? 1. Why was there no initiative from Hindu nationalists personalities to organize protests 2. From the perspective of Hindu nationalists Islam is THE threat. I get it. But will Hindu Nationalists question the government on the policies being implemented or are Hindu Nationalists in complete supportive of the policies (with minor disagrements which you think can be solved afterwards)

Pradhan resigned. I feel uneasy

Something just feels a bit off about his resignation. BJP in particular isn't a party that gives up soo quickly. And that's the thing, it feels quick, abrupt.

Like clearly this is a way to break the momentum that CJP gained. Like it is clearly them trying their hardest to stop the progressive space that gained some breathing space for a miniscule second. And if not about BJP, I just don't see the effects of this entire ordeal lasting long. While the GenZ has proven me more wrong here, my apprension about them still lingers

The uneasy is with BJP itself. Sure they have been 'defeated' now. But I am scared that they are gonna return themselves more vengeful than before. They can just come up with something more toxic against the progressive front which is much visible and clear. Or worse, some of the popular folks might just turn against BJP.

This is monsoon season. I wonder what compromise has opposition struck with BJP here. And where are we getting fucked.

Maybe it's just the constant 12 years of dominance that scares me. And I am sorry that I couldn't put it in better words.

So here is my request, prove me wrong. Tell me that my concerns themselves are wrong. That there isn't anything bad in BJP being in backfoot seeing that they might tone down their rhetoric

How can a muslim judge a Hindu for hating Islam when they are fundamentally, to the core, as different as it gets?

I am an antitheist but not getting into my side of debates

The philosophies, the core tenet, the human beings revered, the cultural practices are all fundamentally different and directly oppose. From dietary restrictions to idoltary, Islam fundementally opposes each and all the main tenents of Hinduism, which permits idoltary, worshiping real, visible things, modesty rules far different.

Islamists and muslims call out Hindus for demanding Hindu rastra while earning for a caliphate. With such contradictions, will Indian muslims be okay, if Hindus collectively came together and declared India a Hindu nation?

Question to Hindu nationalists: What does a 'Post-Hindutva' India will be like?

Here is how I am defining this hypothetical 'post-Hindutva' era: "An Era where Hindu nationalists have successfully taken over all the institutions; where it isn't a 'project' but an accepted, fundamental and default thought of India."

If it is not clear here is the simpler form of question:

Whatever form of Hindu nationalism is in your min fs has won over the nation. Any non-political-Hindu projects have been defeated (either by force or by the will of people). The entire country has bureucrats, politicians, professionals, businessmen adhering to Hindu nationalism as the default political position with no visible opposition.

  1. Do you think that we are in that stage?
  2. If not, what does a 'Post-Hindutva' India will be like? Can range from existence of other religions and their rights to governance, economics, aesthetics, etc.

Edit: looks like folks are not getting my question. So let me elaborate on how post-Hindutva society looks like with some of the most popular talking points:

  1. Hindu Temples are out of Govt control
  2. Religious specific personal laws are abolished
  3. Historical wrongs are 'right'ed.
  4. We follow through the complete decolonization as Hindu Nationalism prescribes (change any and every non-Hindu names to Hindu)
  5. History books are rewritten completely adhering to Hindu nationalist ideals.

and more along the lines.
