This is Brimble! I ended up rescuing a single female mouse, and right now she’s living alone.
I’m having a hard time finding more mice, so I’m not sure how long it’ll be before I can get her some friends. How long is it okay for a female mouse to be by herself?
Used Nair on my armpits and looked like it made it lighter. Thought it was a fluke so I tested it on my neck and it worked!!! Specifically used this one-
I have a question about sprays for my pet mice setup! I’ll be housing 6 female mice in a 100cm x 50cm enclosure, and I want to add lots of clutter and enrichment with plenty of sprays.
The only thing I’m unsure about is how much of each type of spray I should be adding. Is there such a thing as too many of one kind? Are there certain sprays that are okay to use in larger amounts compared to others?
I’m just a little overwhelmed trying to figure out the right balance, so any advice or examples of what you use in your setups would be appreciated!
I know emiology is a good influencer but is there any other people that you suggest to watch for entertainment and educational purposes?

I’ve heard that bigger enclosures for mice are better as long as there’s clutter, from a lot of people. But also heard that bigger enclosures can also be TOO big for mice and cause stress? Idk what to follow.
I texted my boss this:
“Hi [bosses name], I am so incredibly sorry for the late text, but my breathing from that bronchitis took a really bad turn tonight and I’m dealing with chest tightness and a severe POTS flare. I keep waking up feeling like I’m suffocating, so I’m heading to the clinic right now to get my lungs looked at. I unfortunately won’t be able to open the center for the 7:15 AM shift tomorrow. I feel terrible about the short notice, and I did text [coworker] to see if he could cover, but he said he’s under the weather too and can’t. I wanted to let you know immediately so you have time to figure out a backup plan. I’ll get a medical note and keep you posted.”
And she said:
“Not cool. This is becoming a weekly thing with you.”
Context: I have POTS, PMOS and have been dealing with bronchitis for two weeks. The doctors gave me steroids but the coughing a wheezing came back. And when I went to the ER tonight they gave me a breathing treatment, some more steroids and an emergency inhaler. Also for reference, the last times I called out were; Jun 10 for the initial bronchitis issues, before that May 14 was a shift swap, Apr 7 was a shift swap, and before that Feb 20 I was told I couldn't call out so I went in anyway.
Would it be okay to put one mystery snail and one betta in a 5 gallon or is that too much of a bio load? (Pic of Blueberry the Betta 🫶)
I want to do a light baby pink theme for my hamster girl’s enclosure, but I’m having the hardest time finding hamster-safe pink flowers that aren’t super bright or dyed. Has anyone found any before or know where I could buy some? I’m in the USA. Thanks!
