Forgetting things done on “autopilot”

Something happened this morning that freaked me out quite a bit. So I’m a young guy with AuDHD. Almost every morning I have the same exact breakfast of oats and cereals. I bring it to my desk and eat it there while working, watching something, etc. Almost like a reflex now.

This morning I did the same, brought it to my desk, then left to another room and played a game on my phone and texted for a while.

*Then I went straight back to the kitchen and poured myself another bowl.*

I come back to my desk and see the bowl I’d set and go “ohhhh fuck”. I had COMPLETELY forgotten it and just gone back on autopilot “pour myself a bowl of cereal” mode.

This has me terrified 😭 is this a normal experience for unmedicated ADHD? It feels like a dementia experience and I am terrified of that… I still feel sharp and articulate fwiw but this was so out of the ordinary.

Pregnancy test: 21 days after intercourse OR 3-5 days after missed period?

My partner is on hormonal birth control, which means she doesn’t really get normal periods. Her last one was about a month ago.

We messed up and took some other BC drug that apparently counteracts her hormonal BC, and had sex multiple times over the 5-6 days right after her period.

I see either 21 days after sex or 5-6 days after missed period for taking the test. Given how close to her period our risky sex was, 21 days is earlier. Plus also since she’s on hormonal BC she might not get periods as a regular person would.

Is 21 days in our case safe to test? Or should we wait 35+ days (since period cycles can be up to 35 days apparently) to see if she gets her period? Honestly it’s eating me up and I’d rather test sooner than later, but also a false negative can be so much more costly than 2-3 more weeks of anxiety.

Took EllaOne twice on Nexplanon and freaking out.

Wanted to be extra safe since Nexplanon was put on a few years ago. But I just found out that it makes it all riskier and not the other way around…

Had sex, took EllaOne 3-4 days after, had sex again a day later, then took EllaOne 2 days later again. Bad decisions I know. Didn’t have sex after the second EllaOne and so far everything’s looking fine.

Would EllaOne RETROACTIVELY make pregnancy likelier?? Or does it just reduce Nexplanon’s effect for sex you’ve had AFTER taking it? It would make sense that it would be the latter and so it should be safe (will never do that again still) but I’m paranoid.

I get itchy sometimes when I wear a shirt, but I wonder if it’s from the newly growing hairs getting caught on my shirt?
