Planning to move out of NYC, but not soon. I am currently an electrical engineering student. I have a high likelihood of getting my engineering degree. From what I've seen, entry-level electrical engineers only make around $80,000. The tax rate and cost of living are just too high in New York City. I am planning to move to Florida or Texas to avoid high rates of income tax.

If my taxes were going to something good, then I am willing to work in this state, but I just do not want to stay here. My cousin is in Utah, and he makes over 100k a year. Utah has a flat tax rate, and he can keep a good portion of what he makes. I'm just tired of what socialists are telling us and teaching college kids.
