How much is too much, or can it work
Trying to read into lore I think has got me trying to tell too much story on one marine (my oc) and I think I've gone too far but also accidentally gotten attached to it so I'm here for constructive critism as to what I should do with my marine to compromise.
My headcannon for my marine is that he would some way be stranded at the bottom of an ocean during the battle of ichar 4 during the second tyrannic war (if ichar even had an ocean) I added this because I had a dream of fighting a leviathan at the bottom of an ocean as an operation so I added the carcharodon armor for its teeth and underwater feel and found the war vet chest matched well and could fit perfect under the scenario but idk if it fits a well enough explanation
I added the silver arm because I want symbolize deathwatch I'd want me and my friends marines to have reason to meet but I also wanted room to keep my chapter badge and liked the idea of my marine keeping the silver arm instead of the pauldron but im iffy on it because if almost mimics the bionic arm and because I see nothing about it.
I'm very iffy on the veteran chest, yes it has a big ass ultima on it and i even resented using it because of it until i found out Ishar and I'm somewhat iffy on the silver arm because I've never seen it before but I liked the idea, my biggest cope right now is that he is in fact also on battle barge actively working a long side the ultramarines but I think people will look at me weird in missions anyways.
I like my armor telling a logical story but feel like its too much, admittedly the war vet thing already makes my marine already older than I would wish him to be as a lamenter and I feel like I'm crossing from believeable main character energy into mixfest mary sue energy, Is there any compromise or should I drop the arm and/or chest? also I feel like I might cross this line even more when the bionic and mk 6 leg come out because they are so different from each other but I love them both. T_T
Im on mobile, images go from most perferred to most compromising.
