QUESTION: Who do I ask to merge multiple agencies + categories of topics to get actual human advice? The more educated, experienced, and informed, the better.
I have a couple questions and I need to speak with someone knowledgeable in regards to a situation I've dealt with over the last few years. It's exhausting me and this is not ok.
I don't know how to NOT use AI for some of my background issue, so... Is that a thing here? Cause AI is the only place I can seem to turn to to bitch about the epidemic to make sense of it all and how to recover. (Also, is cursing a problem, here? Because I'm to the point that I cannot seem to express myself without it. And I cannot seem to care enough about how everybody else thinks I should be composing myself by now.
I can't seem to relay the full picture unless I offer personal details about the situation.
If I go visit Legal Help - they were kind of rigid and prickish the last time I visited their group.
So where do I go to elaborate a situation my situation regarding 1 shitty rental after another that ended up with mold in the walls in the last one which contributed to me getting sick after receiving a flu shot. I broke out in hives from a compromised immune system, which ended up in losing my job, my home, leaving me completely vulnerable to the ways of the world and when I tried to go get assistance - legally, charity services, housing, medical... I kept getting dismissed. ... I don't want to get into too much detail, but I really need someone to talk to and help me figure out how to go back and hold each entity accountable in their share of complicity that has been affecting me severely. I cannot find closure until I avenge this shitshow of commercial (?) neglect and fuckery.
I tried to do everything I could to rectify the situation and it only continues to get worse. I reached out to the appropriate agencies to address what was happening with me and every damn 1 of them had a "reason" as to why they "couldn't seem to help" .... for example - the local legal aid basically told me that because I had moved out, there was nothing the y could do for me because I was already gone..." even though there wasn't a choice. I tried to dispute my side when I was awarded an eviction notice. And that resulted in "ok. if you can't pay, get the fuck out" ... in which case I did.
The apartment complex continued to charge me rent after I moved out, they sold my "debt" to a collections agency, who then reported it to the Credit Bureaus... And now, I have to dispute everybody because I have evidence, I tried repeatedly to provide that to the complex, the shelter, the legal aid, the credit collection... and now to the credit agencies...
I.am.exhausted. and I just want this to be over with. Please send help.
Can you describe Philly?
I hear a lot of suggestions that Philly is easy to move to, live.
Can I get more information and perspective from those living there?
What neighborhoods are a good place to start?
Is it relatively safe? In terms of prejudice (classism, racism, politics), drug activity, gangs?
Pet-friendly?
Walkable?
Starter jobs?
I'm looking for a fresh start and I'm so done with Florida and all the heat, bugs, overdevelopment, and ridiculous politics.
I'd appreciate some insight.
