William Penn High School WIP - Releasing Soon

My William Penn High School asset is completed and now working in game! As you can see, this school is quite large (27 x 26 lot) and meant to facilitate a large area. It will have a student capacity of 2000 and will offer 175 jobs.

The athletic field you see to the left of the building is not attached and is merely a placeholder. I plan on adding a custom athletic field with a track, football field, and bleachers as a building upgrade upon release.

There will also be a second model and lot that will just be the main academic building (H shape) without the extensions in the rear. This version will have a smaller footprint at the cost of student capacity and parking.

I hope to have this released either by the end of the weekend or sometime next week, so stay tuned!

Please check out the other assets I have released on PDX mods HERE if you haven't already!

If you are enjoying the assets I have released, please consider buying me a coffee! It would help out a bunch!

Thanks!

William Penn High School WIP - Update #3

More of the school building has been completed! The overall footprint is pretty much finished... now I'm starting to make some finishing touches before I begin the UV unwapping process.

After gathering some feedback, I've decided to make two sections of this building be extension upgrades. One will be the mid section (the two gyms and auto repair shop), and the second will be the section at the rear (five rectangular buildings and boiler house). This should give the building more variety and lessen the initial footprint.

There will also be a detatched athletic field that can be placed anywhere within a radius of the building. I'm planning on making a custom football field, track, and bleachers for this extension.

I really appreciate the comments and feedback on this project so far! More updates to come!

Please check out the other assets I have released on PDX mods HERE if you haven't already!

William Penn High School WIP - Update #2

Here's another update on my new high school asset. Things are coming along nicely! The auditorium, gyms, and auto repair shops have been added. Next up is to finish the rear of the building which houses the cafeteria, cosmotology dept, and trades classrooms.

I'm thinking of taking sections of this building and making them expansion upgrades in the game. Not sure how to go about that yet... The athletic field will definitely be an expansion either way. I'd like some feedback on this idea if possible!

I think this asset will take me at least another week to finish, so stay tuned for more updates!

Please check out the other assets I have released on PDX mods HERE if you haven't already!

Stay tuned for more updates on this project!

New Asset WIP: USA NE Post Office

Yet another asset in the works: A post office based on the one found in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA. I believe this will fill a gap between the small and large post offices already in the game perfectly! It is still in its early stages, but should take me way less time to complete compared to the hospital I just released.

More updates to come over the next few days!

Please check out the other assets I have released on PDX mods HERE if you haven't already!

RELEASED! Clarence O. Cheney Hospital Asset

It's finally released! Please check it out on PDX Mods HERE!

This is my model of the Clarence O. Cheney Building from the Hudson River State Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Built in 1952, this building housed state-of-the-art surgical suites, doctors offices, and overflow beds for patients on the state hospital grounds. Steady decline of the patient population eventually led to the buildings' closure and abandonment. Unfortunately after years of neglect and decay, it was decided to tear it down in 2020 to make room for an expanding retail development in the neighboring area. Now it will live on for all of you to enjoy in-game!

Details:

  • Build Cost: $2,000,000
  • Monthly Upkeep: $140,000
  • Patient Capacity: 950
  • Jobs: 800
  • Ambulances: 24
  • Medical Helicopters: 1
  • Lot Size: 18 x 19
  • Parking in the front and rear of the building.
  • Road access at the front only.
  • Pedestrians can access the building from all sides.

Model:

  • Main Mesh: 86,403 Triangles
  • LOD1: 57,457 Triangles
  • LOD2: 264 Triangles
  • 4k Textures (1k for LOD2)

RELEASED! USA NE - Stone Castle Prison

I finally had time to finish and upload my Stone Castle Prison asset! Check it out on PDX Mods HERE!

Description:

This prison is an exact replica of the now closed Northumberland County Jail in Central Pennsylvania, USA. It was built in 1876 and unfortunately burned down in 2015. The building features a very unique castle-like appearance with large 20ft walls surrounding the entire facility. It will fit perfectly in any downtown setting and has a decent prisoner capacity for how small the footprint is.

Details:

  • 10W x 7D Lot Size
  • $175,000 Build Cost
  • 200 Prisoner Capacity
  • 65 Employees

I hope you enjoy my new addition!

Please check out my other mods if you haven't already!

This asset is nearing completion and is almost ready to be uploaded to PDX mods! I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the week!

Some details (updated from my previous post):

  • 10W x 7D Lot Size
  • $175,000 Build Cost
  • 200 Prisoner Capacity
  • 65 Employees

I think this prison will be a welcome addition... personally, I think the in-game prison is way too large for most applications.

All ten models that will be included in my duplex pack are now finished! Now onto texturing and exporting into the game!

The color variations you see are just examples... you'll be able to change their colors in-game, including the siding, accents, and roof. I plan on making unique color variations of some of them (especially the largest one as seen in the second pic) to use as signature residential properties.

Stay tuned for more updates in the future. If you'd like to see the other mods I've made for the game so far, check out my PDX Mods page HERE!

Thank you!
