(UK) thermostat controller wiring

Hello chaps, was dismantling a a shoddy wardrobe that was built around the boiler in our new house. Long story short there was a piece of wood that was supported by a single screw, it fell and ripped the wiring from the controller to the boiler. Boiler side of the wiring is fine but the wiring from the controller has been ripped out. Any clue where these wires may go? Looked online to no success really. Help!

Unsupported joist

Not sure if this is the right sub but here we are!

Floor joist in a 1910 house in England. It dips when walking from the dining room to kitchen, feels like a spring board. I ripped off the floor for an inspection. Joist looks okay I think? But it is unsupported, do I cut out the brick and add in a slightly larger one? Do I sister the joist at the end so it’s resting on the wall. No clue whatsoever, help help!
