Fireplace advice

Hi all,

Some advice needed please.

Just bought our first house and we have this lovely original fireplace. We are looking at painting the living room and feel that a white mantle will go better with the colour scheme.

How would we go about painting this? Or would it not be recommended / better to replace the mantle.

Thanks!

Honda CRV buying help!! (UK)

We are leaving London and needing to buy our first car. After a load of research I think the 2.0 petrol CRV is well placed for our family needs.

I've narrowed down the current options available. I have a budget up to 10k but ideally would not be up at 10.

Not fussed by year. MOT seems ok on all the options but let me know your thoughts please! I've not done a full vehicle check on any of these yet but plan to before proceeding.

What would you go for, if any? Anything to look out for. Appreciate any help!

2 under 2 car recommendations

Hello Reddit,

I am in need of some advice please! We currently have a one year old and expecting number 2 in December so will have 2 under 2.

We are leaving London and needing to buy our first car.

Looking for some recommendations that are spacious enough to fit the two car seats and double buggy in the back! Doesn't have to be a SUV, would be happy for a smaller more compact car provided it has the space.

automatic
10k budget
will be doing fairly low mileage (occasional 2 hour drive to London but the rest will be short trips)

Thank you!
