Call me larper or whatever but what exactly is Public Safety aiming for when they boxed Denji when they were planning to use him to eat Devils anyway?

Makima: She is the reason why most of my favorite moments in CSM happened, her end was so satisfying. Also the anti grooming and anti exploitation message she represent. God I hate her so much with how much she took away from Denji. Robbing him the people he loves and his chance of his dream of having a normal life both by making him experience what good life is before taking it away, and by publicizing Pochita's true ability.
Denji: Dude doesn't ask much in life yet kept striving on despite the amount of trauma he goes through stemming from being taken advantage off, getting groomed, and losing the people he love. Even if it means he has to develop a toxic coping mechanism considering he thinks he is undeserving of normal life thanks to Makima. Watching him regress makes me appreciate for the people who loves me cuz without them, I see myself becoming someone like Part 2 Denji. Someone who copes by desiring shallow things like sex because I wouldn't think I deserve genuine love.
Reze: At first I thought she was seducing Denji so she could lure him into a trap at the start of her arc. I mean who would accept a barfed up flower and laugh so hard with a balls joke. But apparently even after the betrayal she has caused and left Denji in the beach. She tried to come back showing that she ddid love Denji all this time. Their feelings for each other turned out to be mutual instead of another manipulation kind, Reze meant it when she says she will try to make him happy during the festival and she would teach him everything during the pool. Reze wasn't manipulating Denji so she could kill him, she was dating Denji so they both could live happily ever after.
Power: Started out as a brat but develop so much throughout the story, probably the most amount of character change we got in the series. Her making a cake to be able to ease Denji's pain of losing Aki on his birthday but only to get killed was heartbreaking. Then double down later where she got revived, she sacrificed her life against Makima just so she could save Denji who broke down. Saying Denji can't die because he is her first and only friend makes me tear up. That conversation she had with Denji in the garbage bin truly resonated with me.
Aki: Reason why I cried the most in CSM. Started out with a laugh of getting his nut cracked over and over, felt bad for him for losing Himeno. Slowly giving up his pursuit of revenge just to keep Denji and Power safe. It pains my heart whenever I think about Aki the man deserved so much better. It truly broke me on how the man just got exploited by Makima using his vengeance against the Gun Devil only to turn him into one just to torment Denji when all he wanted is for Denji and Power to live a happy life. It's just so cruel.
Honorable Mention for favorite Part 2 character: Yoru/Asa: promising premise but execution fell flat.

P.S. I tried to think of Part 2 moment to add in but I couldn't think of any moment which I felt more dread/hype/emotional that bypasses than the Gun Devil sequence.
So honorable mention: Denji drowning scene for being my favorite part 2 moment.
Then it would definitely be Denji seriously look at this precious boy. Beside being a handsome young man who looks like a dog. The dude is perfect husband/wife material. The man raised Nayuta, 7 huskies, and 1 cat on his own while going through highschool despite not having proper education. The dude doesn't ask much in life other than to be able to eat 3 times a day, a nice bed, a roof over his head, and a woman to love him. The man knows how to cook, clean, keep himself clean, works hard, and manage finance to make ends meet. The kid thinks he wants multiple girlfriend but in reality, he just needs someone to love him just the way he is, someone who would hug him when things go down. Knowing Denji he wouldn't commit infedility if his partner who adores him so much is not fine with it. He may be openly perverted but he is a gentleman, always making sure that the other party consent before engaging any inappropriate desire. The poor guy has been through so much yet never became a bad person. A jerk maybe but not evil. Plus the dude is actually funny and doesn't smoke and does magic tricks.
Our relationship will be equal, he will love me, make me laugh, and do chores I'm not willing to do, while I will make him happy and provide the educations he needs and I will teach him everything else he needs to know, the kid barely went to school afterall. And then we will both work hard to help each other to be able pay for food, bills, and shelter.
Aki is a fine choice but the man smokes, Power would be annoying to have around plus she stinks and would always suck my blood dry while sleeping, I have to deal with 7 huskies and whatever Makima is planning if I chose her. Himeno smokes and she would drink hard til she kisses the next cute boy she finds and probably take advantage of him, I have to provide for Kobeni's sibling's education if I choose her, I wouldn't be able to stand Asa condescending attitude if I say or do something she doesn't like, Yoshida creeps me out, Fumiko would turn me into her, Quanxi already has 4 partners, Kishibe will leave me alone to take care of the kids.

Few days ago I finished reading Home is Where The Heart Is by u/gravity_horse and men what an emotional ride it was. Just remembering the Nayuta and Power scenes make me sob wherever I am.
Spoiler Alert for those who haven't read it and are planning to
At some point in the story Nayuta sacrifices herself to revive Denji turning him into a Control Fiend. So I was thinking, is there a fanfic or anyone interested on writing one where Nayuta revives Denji turning him into the new Control Devil and making her inside Denji's conscious similar to Pochita probably the contract Nayuta would make is for Denji to take back the Chainsaw Heart back so she can have a roommate. The War Devil did something similar to Asa so I headcanon the 4 Horsemen Devils can do it and it's up to them how much control the vessel has and with Nayuta's love for Denji she will give Denji full control.
A good deviation I can think off is after the Chainsaw Church arc where Public Safety captures Denji and instead of boxing him, they confiscated his Chainsaw Heart in attempt to summon Black Chainsaw Man, Nayuta doesn't die and instead team up with Asa, and "Fami" to save Denji.
Losing Nayuta and Pochita upon awakening because Denji turned into Chainsaw Man during Chainsaw Church arc will put him into rampage, reminding Denji the conversation he had with Reze how terrible Public Safety really is. Denji would calm down once someone talk some sense out of him (whether it be Asa, Kishibe, Reze, or dream Nayuta) then we can move on to saving Pochita arc so Nayuta can have a companion while living inside Denji whenever Denji is not asleep.
This idea actually indirectly achieves Makima's goal of being with Pochita loving each other forever, but as Nayuta. And being a Control Devil + Chainsaw Hybrid Denji will have so much strength and influence that we can give him an ending of him having Makima's position and reputation that she used to have if not more terrifying (people around the world feared Makima during part 1). When Denji ate Makima and said he will bare her sins, he wouldn't have expected how right he would be in this AU.
Denji having such position, he can give other characters their dream such as Power winning a noble prize (seriously with her ability she can achieve that), giving Reze the normal life she wanted, separating Asa and Yoru with his unlimited classified devil contracts works, and etc.. Of course he will need some guidance on how to manage such power and position.
Basically the end goal is that Denji stops the apocalypse from happening and become the best version Makima could have become.

Reze couldn't hold it anymore and laugh hysterically then wipes off her tears she got from laughing
Reze: oh sweet Denji, you really are the most interesting person I know

Reze: To be honest there is something I need you to know about me, I hope you would still see me as the same Reze even if you find out.

Dear fanfic readers, which fanfic story do you think captures Reze's character the best?
Because I think Reze is herself the most is when she was fighting. Her time in the cafe feels like her trying to act to be her most ideal self while the beach scene is her acting cold to try and distance herself from Denji. I don't think she's the type of person who regrets doing collateral damage (because it's part of the job), but at the same time not someone who could keep a cold act for too long because she likes being the bubbly person she's playing when she was around Denji and her boss in the cafe.
