So power steering went out and shop is telling me its gonna be $3,000 to repair. Part number given was 709403212. Its for a 2021 Canam Defender HD9. Everything I'm seeing shows it for newer model. Can find one on ebay for $900, for what seems reputable source. https://www.ebay.com/itm/137186990031

Anyways, any thoughts on this? Is this just overcharged part type shit? I'm somewhat okay at turning a wrench, is this a repair I can do myself?

So have all but given up on getting a new tundra. From issues to price just has me meh about it. So my question is, what would constitute a “Gem” on FB Marketplace? What are some things to look for? Near Ft Worth if that helps as far as seasonal issues. This one for instance seems great, mileage is 266k though, but shouldn’t be an issue right? TIA
