I rescued these being thrown out — the brand is a famous Australian boot maker and I want to restore them for my wife. She works with horses so it’s function as much as style.

Where would you start?
What needs doing?
Can I “add” grip to the soles somehow, or does it not matter?

Not sure if this is teak / walnut / oak. Seems solid not veneer, was previously a MCM table top. Was going to just repurpose for shelving but might make a kids desk out of it… any thoughts?
