Motorbike signals
So since yesterday I’m riding, I see when other motorcycles passes on my left, they do this with their legs? Does it mean like “hey” and how do I respond?

How long it took you to reach 80kmh
Hello all… it’s my 2nd day riding.. I’m able to cruise comfortably around 40 kmh max.
How long you guys had to practice to reach 70-80kmh ?
Because right now ima bit scared to go above 40. Despite having 10+ years of driving bigger vans at 140 😆

125cc or A1 license
I have never ridden before. So first time. But have over 10 years of driving experience and a lot of mountain biking.
Signed up for 1 hour of private introduction course. The instructor thought me few things, friction zone, gear shifting 1 to 2 and 2 to 1. And only rear brake.
He told me I need more practice to be able to attend the 12 hours lesson.
The same school rents out 125cc Honda CBf (which I did my one hour lesson on) and scooter pcx.
I have a bit of confusion. Should I go ahead and do the 12 hours lesson on the scooter? Which will be a lot easier I assume. And later I can practice on my own on Honda CB. My intention is to ride motorcycle not scooter.
Or should I rent one of the Honda CBf 125 from the school and practice around the area like parking lot and then go for attending the 12 hour session?

Honda CB125 F
Just got my A1 license in my mid 30s 🏍️🙏🏽. I know everyone recommends not buying a brand new 125cc as a starter… so I thought I would shop around. My fav bike is the sports style, but that won’t fit my needs. As I want to travel long distances.
I came across this deal for Honda CB 125 F.
It’s a 2020 model with only 1050 km on it ;) and for only €1.5k. Not sure for how long I will ride before thinking of changing my license for bigger one. Is it a good deal ?

From Switzerland to Portugal with 125cc
Ola everyone, I recently got my license for 125cc and I’m thinking this crazy adventure. Ride it from Switzerland to Portugal through non highway roads, is it too crazy ? Or enjoyable over the few days ? If anyone has done similar long distance trips with small bike. Love to hear your story.
