Two questions (bugs?) about Tahuks

After the latest patch ([Version – 1.0.172]) I played Tahuks (which I had tried before but failed) and there were two issues.

  1. The "Stars Light" ability (to add population to city) only works ONCE per observatory for the entire game! If that is by design it is a huge nerf to this faction. And I am absolutely sure it only works once as the message I get when I mouse over is something like ("already used").

  2. I could only get one pacified village per minor faction. So even though I had pacified 3 of the individual villages only one shows up as assimilated and in the overview window for minor factions it only shows one available. I also can't interact with these villages at all. I can't destroy them. I can't rebuild them (they weren't showing destroyed anyhow) and I can't bribe them. I reported as bug but wondering if anyone else encountered this

Question about Supply for invading Egypt

I have some infantry and tanks in Libya and have taken over a few of the western states but I am out of fuel for those units. I have a supply of fuel for the nation but it isn't making it to North Africa. Is it because I need to gain Naval Superiority in those regions or is there some other mechanic that will allow my fuel to make it to my tanks so I can continue my march towards the Suez canal

Hoping someone can help me with Navy

I just picked up the game while it was on sale and slowly figuring out my way around the UI and options. But one thing has continued to frustrate me and that's the navy.

I'm trying to set up a Naval Superiority zone so that I can launch an invasion. I've tried clicking on the Admiral or the task force but no matter what I do when I try anything like "Patrol" or "Strike Force" or "Support Land Invasion" and then right-click the zones I want to impact, nothing happens and the ships head back to port. I must be doing something wrong and probably watching some out-of-date videos but I just can't get a "Green" zone to show up on UI to show that I'm trying to gain naval superiority. Every time I do something other than have them sit there I then see the ships just move back to port.

JA3 Mid/late game question

I have one encounter that is making me want to quit the game it is so unfair, and it is the only one where there is absolutely no solution that I can see. I'm referring to the Ubahn/underground mission to find some German doctor.

In sector G12 I encounter some enemies that are off the charts, and there are a ton of them. My crew have good armor yet the enemies can one shot kill me or using shotgun from distance can severely wound 3 guys in one shot. My shots do almost nothing.

I don't think this is a case of me not having the right kind of weapons or armor as I'm doing fine in every other encounter, even in this underground. But then I hit this wall and my unit gets wiped out. I would need to back way up in my saves and just bypass this mission and all the wasted time I've had exploring.

Anyone else get this this quest and maybe skip that sector?

CIV7 difficulty change

I have played a lot of CIV7 and almost always play sovereign difficulty and before the "Test of Time" update I would smoke the AI and win pretty easily and usually had at least two and sometime three victory paths I could easily complete. But NOW....holy crap!

Every game I've played there is usually one and sometimes more AI's that are super overpowered. Maybe there is something I'm not doing correctly in new update?

I was trying for science victory and that seems really difficult compared to culture. I have won culture victory and military victory in Test of Time update but the science and economic victories seem impossible. I had the most science through most of the game but still had quite a bit of time left. Napoleon won the culture victory early in the Modern Age. Should I have gone to war with him to disrupt his culture victory?

Maybe I need to focus more on the achievements and trying to maximize those? I just don't know why this new format is so much more difficult and not finding a lot of updated strategy guides out there
