[stupid question] Does our favorite racer have some connection to the 1954 Fast and the Furious film?

I stumbled across the cover of the 1954 film by accident and the similarities were too much for my brain to pass up. The font and checkerboard pattern are too similar for my brain to dismiss as coincidence given the thematic overlap of IPs. Does anyone know of any interviews or such that speak more about this?

I'M BACK: a quick update on upright office chairs

Hello again folks. Idek if anyone will remember me, but I made a post a few months ago about a knocked over office chair detail (see background). I was attempting to make upright chairs that could be "sat" on they were all too tall. Cue THE CUSHION. I love this thing. Made the sitting issue less annoying and added proper function to the chair. I am, however, slightly annoyed there isn't vertical slabs to bring parity to my wonderous fallen office throne and its upright comrade. If any vertical slabs appear I will be on it like butter on toast. Until next time, cheers!

Making a Bmobile addon pack for Immersive Vehicles

I have previously made a Speed Racer pack, and wanted to try something new. So I thought today I would share progress on my first bmobile for a new pack I am working on. I wanted to start with my favorite from Batman TAS and work my way to ones like the '66 model and eventually try my hand at the Tumbler. I took some creative liberties of course, but I hope someone finds it neat anyway.

Batmobile Entrance

While I continue to work on my batmobile addon for IV, I wanted to use create to make a vehicle entrance. Unfortunately an elevator option was eliminated due to how create and IV interacts, but this was the next coolest thing I could conceive of. It's slow and I'll probably upgrade it soon, but I wanted to show what I made for now.

Hello again folks.

Until we we can have vertical slabs to allow me to have my favorite plump office chair, I have been messing with a few ideas. Let me walk you through them and maybe it'll be useful for someone (maybe).

Design 1: This horrendous design offers a tall, looming presence in the boardroom. You will need your yes-men's assistance into your corporate booster seat though.

Design 2: This is an alternate booster seat design. However it seems to be a hot seat as smoke rises from the cushion occasionally. Don't forget a step-ladder

Design 3: This design is easier to climb onto but offers no arm support and the base looks almost like a toilet.

Design 4: This was made to bring back the arm rests while reducing entity count. The large base makes it a pain to move around. It's more of a stationary office chair.

Design 5: This design utilizes step-ladder tech to allow for easy ascension into your seat at the cost of looking god-awful

Designs 6-8: I am partial to these designs, but they have weak bases, or lack seat support for the lazy sitter. The hopper base is interesting but manages to balance through sheer dark magic shenanigans.

What I have taken away from this experience: Mojang needs to add vertical slabs, AND to stop things like chains, glass panes, lightning rods, the bottom of hoppers (?!?), etc from breaking item frames. It's obnoxious.

I did not see anything like this in an initial search of the subreddit so I wanted to show this for people making abandoned structure builds. Currently using it for a deserted lab.
