Hi friends, in town for a few days and can only do 2/3 (3rd night reserved for Mexican - I have Lola 55 but very happy to be influenced). No criteria, I eat everything, love good food and bonus points for unique experiences.

UPDATE: I love how much yall love food and your dining scene! I canceled A’Louest but booked the speakeasy upstairs before one of the other dinners. And I moved Lola to lunch so I could make room for Alchemy. Excited to try everything, will report back. Thank you so much!!

Campy 90s HK movie stranded in jungle/on island
I remember watching it as a kid in Taiwan in 1994. It was on free to air tv all the time. Maybe they survived a plane crash? Maybe there were monkeys in bad costumes. Heavy on the camp and bad special effects

How are we feeling about this? $135 price point, 4 fragrances (patchouli, berry/green, rose and orange blossom), ceramic vessel and all the non-gmo etc tags.
It’s pretty, and the price point might make sense relative to their clothing line, but seems aggressive relative to more established brands (I think it’s even smaller than a Diptyque classic). Especially considering they don’t have many store fronts, making this an almost guaranteed blind buy. Anyone want to volunteer to try and report back?
