Grey Dagger moth caterpillar 🐛

Grey Dagger moth caterpillar 🐛

Found this feeding on the leaves of my cherry tree whilst watering the garden late in the evening. In better light the following morning I refound it, along with 3 others. This one was the biggest, juiciest specimen for a photograph!

A sibling hug. Barn Owl fledglings enjoying an evening stretch.🦉

These are the moments I spend hours and hours walking the countryside for. They are rare moments which mean so much more when they present themselves. Sometimes I can spend 4/5 hours in the field without taking a single photo.

5 years of wildlife photography…….one of the most magical evenings. 🦉

This is up there with one of my best ever sessions with my camera. An incredible evening watching 4 Barn Owl chicks emerging from their natural nest hole awaiting the parents food drops.

A magical moment in nature. Tawny Owl🦉 chick 🐣 giving me a cheeky little wave.

In over four years of bird photography I’ve only seen a few Tawny Owl adults. This is the first time I’ve seen a chick. And this one was just amazing to watch.
