Trezor Suite throwing TRZ_CONN_0a3B is this a cable thing or a deeper USB quirk?

Man, I stared at this exact modal for a solid 20 minutes last night. Swapped cables, tried both USB-C ports on my laptop, even did the whole hold the button while plugging in dance that worked once before. Nothing.

The part that gets me is the error code TRZ_CONN_0a3B feels too specific to be just cable loose. I noticed it only happens when my notebook is plugged into the charger, which makes me wonder if it's a power delivery thing on the hub. But I'm probably overthinking it.

Here's what I'm stuck on does that code actually correlate to a firmware mismatch, or is it strictly a physical layer handshake failure? I'm running the latest Suite but my Trezor is one firmware version behind because I'm paranoid about the update wiping anything. Has anyone else seen this error specifically when the device isn't on the absolute latest bootloader, or am I chasing ghosts?

I'm open to suggestions in the DM and only DM if you've got a brain that works because every thread I've found just says try another port and I've run out of ports to blame.

3 years with Ledger and still can't figure out how people get drained without sharing seed

Three years is about when I started getting paranoid too. I've had my Nano for a while and I still double check every address like five times, but I'm always nervous I'll miss something obvious.

What gets me is how many stories involve people who thought they were careful... like they didn't share their seed but still got drained. I've read about fake Ledger Live apps, clipboard hijackers, and even malicious contract approvals. Do you think most of these cases come from phishing sites that look legit, or is it more about people accidentally interacting with a bad smart contract?

I'm open to suggestions in the DM too and please only answer if you've got a brain that works
