Vit mechanical or bmsce/msrit mechanical

Hi guys i got seat in vit vellore mechanical engineering in category 2 . I got 85 marks in comedk shift 2. I might be able to get mechanical in bmsce/msrit. I am a mechanical enthusiast so i don't want any other streams. Which one should i take. Fees for comedk is little bit on the higher side. I am from poor family so i will probably have to take loan for either of them. Can you guys suggest which I should take , considering i am from north i.e. punjab

Bmsce mechanical or vit vellore mechanical

Hi i am interested in mechanical engineering as i want to work in the aerospace field. I can get cat 2 mechanical at vit vellore and according to my comedk marks i can possibly get it at bmsce too. Which should i choose?. I will have to take a loan for both colleges as I am from ews. I am willing to grind for 4 years with passion. Which should i choose?. What's the placement scenario in mechanical. Can i get an internship in an aerospace company if i grind. And how's the college culture. Will i face any discrimination as i am from punjab. Will there be other north indians like me? And how's the infrastructure of bmsce? Vit vellore infra is top notch as it has 42 different kinds of labs for just the mechanical branch. Is infra of bmsce comparable to vit?

Is bvcoe good for non delhi students?

Hey so i am asking this on behalf of my friend. He's sc and is from haryana. he got 83 something percentile. I have checked the previous year's cuttoffs. He can get cse in bvcoe . Is it worth it? He's from a very poor family and i think he deserves the reservation. But the main thing is the fees. I checked the fee is around 7-8 lakh and there aren't any hostels in the college. Is the college worth the roi?.

Got 26k rank.

I wanted rank above 20k :( but unfortunately i fucked my exam due to my own carelessness. I didn't even know there would be a calculator provided in the exam. I wasted too much time in calculations. Only to realize 10 minutes before submitting the exam that there's also a calculator. My calculation is quite slow . Only if i would have known there would be a calculator. I could have attempted 20-30 more questions. I am feeling so sad now i wanted cat 1 mechanical in vellore but i dont think i will get it also i can't afford cat 2. I am so disappointed. I also scored very bad in jee mains. I don't have any options left :( i dont even know what to do now i belong to a very poor family . there ain't any scholarships for poor people in vit sadly

How is mechanical in sliet?

Hi i got 2.2 lakh crl and i am ews. According to last year cuttoff in csab round 3 was 3.5 lakhs for ews and in round 2 was 2.6 lakh. I am scared if i will get it this year or not as i dont have much options. I am a failed dropper :( if i get sliet mechanical i will pursue iit madras online bs degree in aeronautics and space technology alongside it as i originally wanted to pursue aerospace engineering but couldn't score enough in jee. I will also most probably try for gate. Also i dont want to take mechanical in any private as i would have to take loan for it as i come from very low income family and there's rarely any job in core in private. Is sliet goor for the path i am choosing?. Jitna mene dekha he the sliet mechanical labs are great and the campus is also very great just like nits. Also i think i can also get ymca mechanical as i have haryana as home state but ymca campus is very small and there ain't any hostel in that college. Sliet would be much better option for me at the current situation but i am also very scared if i will get it or not as csab isn't much predictable.

Hi i wanted to join mechanical engineering in thapar but my family income is just 2 LPA. Is there any way i can get a fee waiver ? I dont have a good score in jee just 85 percentile. And just 82.5% aggregate in pcm cbse. Can i get mechanical at this score (i am from outside punjab. Or should i rather join mechanical engineering in low tier gfti . I most probably want to work in the aerospace field. If i join tier 3 mechanical i can afford additional online bs degree of iit madras in aeronautics and space technology.

I know there's a merit cum need scholarship but it's just for 20 students and is it worth taking risk what if i am not in those 20 students that have low income. Also i am not able to find last year's mechanical cutoff . According to the available last year's cutoff i can get evd branch but i am not quite interested in electronics. I was originally aiming for aerospace engineering but things didn't go as planned in my drop year.
