Diamond fix and phone verification (1.1.32 on android)

Laser blast on diamond mines should be giving actual games now! Hopefully that means we can get the minigames back on for over level 100.
Phone verification should be working better on 1.1.32, but may not fully see that til tomorrow.

Random math time: daily activity speed run for TB

I ran a stop watch while I did the free daily activity on alll my gold mines to see how fast I could do it and how much TB it gave.

Some important notes:
You can leave the daily activity as soon as the animation starts and still get rewards, rather than waiting.
On my screen the top bar for the daily activity box is visible without scrolling, so I can click into it right away.
Double tapping my back button on my phones navigation bar gets me back to my properties list faster
Originally I was sorted by inactivity but only some of my mines were jumping to the bottom while others stayed, so I switched to just sort by type so I could keep track of what I've done better.
I'm sure someone could be a faster/slower clicker than me and do better/worse.

I have 256 gold mines. It took me 23 minutes and 40 seconds(total of 1420 seconds) to get through them all. I gained 142 TB from it. So 10 seconds per TB. This is 360 TB per hour.

I had a few instances of accidently clicking into one I'd already done + twice it seemed to take a few extra seconds to load. Back to I'm sure someone could do better than me. Resorting afterwards and checking revealed I somehow missed one so only 255 check ins total.

142 TB = 71 times of getting 2 TB
71/255 = 28.7%; if I had the guess the true percent is probably 25 or 30 just cause those are round numbers.

When I'm getting 60 second ads, my minigame tb rate is 400-500 tb per hour. So daily activity isn't that much slower.

TLDR: speed daily activity = 360 TB/hour. minigames with 60 sec ads = 400/500 TB hour. Daily activity not terrible.

Should my wife switch from part time work to working overtime for 25k more a year?

My wife has a 20 hour a week job that pays 180k. I make 150k at my job. We have 800k in investments. She got an offer for a 40-50 hour a week that pays 25k more. She loves the work life balance at her current job; including getting to spend more time with the kids. She wants to reach her FI goal of 2.25 million so she can switch to working a part time job. She already works a part time job. Should she switch jobs so she can reach FI sooner and swap back to a part time job? She'll lose her company's 401k match for leaving sooner too. But its more money. She should take it right?

How are we feeling about new conversion rate?

If you haven't seen yet, latest android update gives 200TB for converting $1, 300 TB on the 1st and 15th.

I think that's kind of a crazy and a play to get people to convert so that there's less to payout.

Finally getting visitors

I've had a couple visitors come through this week on some of mines! Feels good. Hopefully the number of visitors can keep going up.
What about you all, getting any visitors yet?

New app kind of similar to atlas earth

Terramine is a location based app where you buy mines and they generate rent, with a bigger focus on community interaction. It's new, but I'm finding it to be pretty fun. It's entirely f2p.

When you start out you want to focus on playing the minigames on your mines for terrabucks(TB) and buying more mines. Then later you can go back in and level up those mines for more rewards.

There are 4 types of mines:
Rock mine - 60% of all mines
Coal mine - 30% of all mines and earns 1.5x a rock mine
Gold mine - 9% of all mines and earns 2x a rock mine
Diamond mine - 1% of all mines and earns 4x a rock mine

These are the minigames:
Rock mine - memory game: flip the cards over to make matches. Gives 1 TB per level. This one is the slowest for earning TB.
Coal mine - miner maze: get your miner to the exit to win. Gives 5 TB on the easy levels, 15TB on medium(starting at level 11) and 30 TB on hard(starting at level 31). The exit will always be in the bottom right corner. On the easy level you can ignore the hazards because you won't hit enough of them to die. Any tiles with ladders you can only move through up and down, not left or right. Tiles without a ladder you can go any direction as long as its not a solid wall. Note that your first click only changes which way your miner is looking, then you have to click again to move. Some people find turning up the brightness on their device helps them see more clearly.
Gold mine - gold rush: tap to rotate the tiles until you make a complete path to the pot of gold. Gives 1 or 2 TB per level. On some levels it may be easier to start at the pot of gold and work backwards.
Diamond mine - laser blast: tap to rotate the mirrors so that the laser will hit the target. Gives 1 or 2 TB per level. On higher levels you will have multiple lasers/targets, match them by color.
There is no cap on the minigame level you can reach.

If you are near another player you can also check into their mines for some TB!

The coal mine has one of the best minigames for farming - its a maze where you navigate to the exit at the bottom right corner.
Later when you start running out of room to buy more mines you can work on upgrading your mines.

New Game Similar to Atlas Earth

Terramine has a similar concept to atlas earth; you buy mines and they generate rent. It's still early and waiting for cash outs to go live in the next couple weeks(plan is for cashouts via PayPal). It has a lot of potential to build up some decent income via ad watching. Good chance to get in while its still early.

When you start out you just want to focus on getting as many mines as you can, ignoring the levels until you start to run out of room to buy. Each mine type has its own minigame you can play to get more Terrabucks so you can buy more mines. Coal mine followed by diamond and gold will be the best for earning TB.

Link to a guide I put together for more details: https://terraminebeginnerguide.wordpress.com/

How to get me to turn shopping back on

https://preview.redd.it/wzp8q9xri58h1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=b7fb65e52a5a33ae8227983386293db13454c488

I would consider leaving shopping on permanently if they did more of this. They usually give me other quests that are hard enough to do without shopping and would be impossible with a shopping order so I leave it off. Anyways guess I'm doing exactly 3 shopping orders over the next 2 weeks.
