Trying out some new jewelry combinations

I have a lot of jewelry of all types. and I don’t seem to get to wear some of them very often. So I decided to try some combinations. I think I’m going to see what might work and look good threaded through the four small hoops. I’m open to suggestions.

Goals met!

16mm, 10mm, & 6mm. Am I done? That’s always the question we face when we reach our goal, isn’t it? 🤪

Shout out to Two Feather Plugs for the Unicorn Poop plugs! The picture does not do them justice. I get more compliments from those than any other standard plugs I wear.

So here’s a question that I’m sure has been asked before…..

What do y’all do with your “old“ jewelry? I’ve stretched my first lobe hole to 16 mm and my second hole to 10 mm. When stretching the first, I paused at 10 mm for quite some time, so I ended up buying a lot of jewelry in that size. I can use a lot of those in the second hole, obviously. But I have a lot of jewelry, smaller than 10 mm, and between 10 mm and 16 mm. Right now they’re all just sitting in storage boxes, but I hate for them to go to no use. I’ve been told that no one sells “used“ body jewelry. I don’t know anyone I would give these to, either. So I’m just looking to see what, if anything, any of y’all have done with your “leftovers.”

I finally got them!

The Twisted Link (Large 12mm - 13mm) in amber from the good folks at Glass Wear Studios. When I first saw these I immediately thought, “I gotta get these!” I hadn’t seen anything like them before and I’m all about unique. They’re not cheap so I did a search for them or something similar, but I came up empty. They’re much bigger than expected and heavy, 37g. I’m currently at 14mm so they slipped in just fine. They are most definitely statement pieces!

Reel by Joe Geyer on piercing’s history

I think many of you will find this interesting. There are some things that Joe talks about here that I was aware of already, but many others that I was not. My first piercing was a single piercing in my right ear, but it had nothing to do with my sexuality. I just generally favor my right side. I was still in the Air Force so I had to keep it on the downlow when I was in uniform, usually by putting a very small piece of plastic or wood in there, flush with my skin. After I got out, I started piercing with real gusto, mostly because I was now free to do so. I’m sure it was a form of rebellion and in many ways it continues to be that way today. I’m now 72 years old and I have 12 piercings in each year and one in my septum. Also, I am stretching the first three in my earlobes and the septum. As a sidenote, I’m also very much into tattooing and have several that are visible.

My sweetheart Maude

She likes to show it off, but she’s not real keen on getting it rubbed. I’m pretty much the only one who can and at that only for about five seconds.

I was told I should post here

This is my current set up. I’m going for a black/gold aesthetic. My stretches are 10 mm, 6 mm, and 3.2 mm. My goal is to get them to 16, 10, 8 mm. All the rest are either 2 mm or 1.2 mm. In addition to stretching, I will be adding more earrings in those top gaps. For the bottom gap I’ve been putting cuffs in that area, which is kind of fun because then I can switch out the look often. I’ve been piercing since right after I got out of the Air Force in 1993, but I only just started stretching last year.
