I know they probably wont do it (they dont love us enough to even care to give us a swimming emote with the rest of the family) BUT its cool to think about....

As we all know, Parker Robbins, aka the Hood, found a hood that granted him immense power.

And to people who don’t dig deep, he seems like a thug who doesn’t know anything about what he has and just shoots his shot with every girl with pure arrogance.

And I’m here to tell you: you’re wrong about that. He’s so much deeper story-wise than we were all led to believe.

Let’s start with a common misconception: Parker not knowing what the Hood is doing to him.

This is something his interactions with other heroes make it look like, when in reality, he’s the most aware of it. He’s been aware of it for a long time now, as shown by his conversation with Ozymandias, making it clear that he’s fully aware of the danger he’s in.

He does **NOT** like the Hood. His interactions with Blade show this. He’s tried destroying the Hood, and in the Ozymandias conversation, it shows that he hates the Hood and painfully wants it off himself.

But the problem that most people don’t know is...

**He can’t take off the Hood.**

It causes him immense pain when he does. Think of it like how Spider-Man was ripping Venom off his body, just on a cosmic scale. He’s tried many times, to no avail.

That’s the problem Robbins is in. He’s stuck. He doesn’t know what’s going to happen next, and he’s terrified.

That brings us to his interactions with all the heroes. He shows anger when they bring up the Hood ruining him because he already knows.

It’s like telling someone with cancer over and over that they’re going to die if something isn’t done.

**HE KNOWS THAT.**

And it pisses him off because he’s scared—scared of what’s going to happen next.

So he wears a mask, one of pure flirtatious arrogance, where he acts like he holds all the power when he knows that’s not the case...

Now let’s go to another misconception: that he did all of this just for power.

This is not entirely untrue. He did do it for power, but as shown in the Luna interaction, not only is he sympathetic and shows that he understands pain, but it also shows he didn’t do it for power alone, but for the people he loves. He’s not evil at heart, just sad and broken—broken by the world.

Which leads to my last thing:

**Why doesn’t he get help?**

Because he’s afraid to be vulnerable. Afraid to let everyone see that he isn’t the tough guy who doesn’t care. He hates being the victim. It’s the reason he took the Hood in the first place. He hates being weak.

And that’s where we are right now: a story about a man who’s stuck in a deal that leads to his utter oblivion, so painfully aware of what’s happening but too scared to reach out.

It’s genuinely amazing how the Rivals writers make stories like this—stories that, if you piece them together completely, can change how you view a character.

Hopefully, this explanation helps change how you view him.

For one parker robbins aka the hood is a villain with....a magical hood i think we all know this thats probably the only thing similar

Parker robbins in the comics is a white man has a wife and daughter along with being like what in his 40s? He got his powers from dormmamu to heal his mother's dementia

Now parker Robbins in Rivals is a puerto rican man about early to mid 20s he has no wife or daughter here and his mother i believe doesnt have dementia like comics hood his father was killed by kingpin crooks which is why he has a vendetta against him

He also got hos powers from oblivion instead of dormammu (making him much more powerful to his comic counterpart btw)

For one they arent even danny koos creations Lin Lie is a creation of marvel and netease in general

White fox is a creation of Young Hoon Ko a completely different person all together so can we please stop acting like they get similar treatment as luna when they're both down in the slumps (lin lie not so much anymore)
