Blade needs some change(TANK)

Although this gave a lot of value to the team (my team was a 5v2 while i was 1v4, pushed OBJ 1/4 while also taking care of 1 of triple heals), its just a little upsetting/underwhelming that blade doesnt have any type of high dmg output from his abilities other then ULT. These sequences are fun and long, maybe high dmg output isnt the goal of blade but to last long and distract? Im kinda of seeing why everyone want him to be tank now

Bloodline awakening should be active at all times

His gun should be able to slowly build the passive and the sword builds BLA rapidly like it does now. Give him bleed or extra crit damage on his gun for 6+ stacks. Its no surprise that blade is the worst ramp up character and he has to actively switch to his ramp up

Spidey Main who has come to know the power of Ice Cold Steel

Love him.

Buff his movement; double jump and wall run. Or double jump and sword ground slam.

Make his movement animation appear more nimble in addition to this..He’s a vampire man, but in-game he moves like a brick

Make slash omnidirectional (let’s not pretend anymore, they did it for BP)

Increase block duration by 1 second

Some more Blade tech (Explained in desc)

I’m sure all blade mains experienced auto spins coming sooner than expected leading to increased dps.

This happens when you use an ability during specific sword animations. After your 3rd hit or when you get 3 stacks, using block/dash/TU after will make the auto spin after the next skip animations. If you are engaging with dash it changes to the 8th stack instead.

It only increases the ttk by a little so it’s up to you if you want to use it. I’ve been dropping a lot of tech these last couple of days but would rather have more abilities.

Blade in Marvel Rivals future

I one-tricked Blade to Grandmaster (which I now understand in this toxic community is considered pisslow), but that’s not even my point. I’m here to talk about Blade and the future of Blade in Marvel Rivals.

Firstly, this character is fundamentally flawed in so many ways. To really understand how terrible he is, you actually have to experience playing him. Every other DPS in this game has an easier time getting value in fights compared to Blade.

Now, the fun part about playing Blade and actually having a solid game is:
A. Nobody is looking at you, and you’re free to slash however you like.
B. Your gun decides to work and you get zero no-regs.

But I don’t want this to be too long. This character has been wrongfully built since release, and unfortunately it’s only going to get worse with the new hero, Devil Dinosaur, entering the game.

I love this character a lot, but sometimes I get tired of all the inconsistencies. Out of all the heroes in the game, you have to be at the SWEET SPOT 9–10m range just to do decent damage with your shotgun.

Zhiyong is cooking straight bullshit and needs to be fired. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk and reading this.

I love Blade, but let’s be honest: more buffs are not going to fix a fundamentally flawed character. He needs a total rework. What ever that rework is I hope the Devs can figure it out cause ngl they have done this character so dirty it’s genuine madness!

How much better would Blade be with bleed?

Wether his anti-heal was replaced with bleed or if its just an entirely new addition, would it make an actual difference? No way it would just be ANOTHER small or nothing burger buff right?
