Front yard 2 months after moving in

It’s no masterpiece and we are far from being experts in anything we do but the few things we’ve done I feel have made a huge difference.

The Hostas grew back, we added marble stones and garden picket fencing to the garden bed areas, removed the chain link fence, some weeding and extra grass seed, some pavers to create a border, added some accessories in sidewalk lights, our flag, some extra flowers or decorations here and there. A little of this and a little of that and a good amount of love and effort. There’s always a little something more to do.

It makes us happy to look at our work and call this our home.

Feel free to drop in some recommendations that we can do to make us love it even more!

First floor bath leaking but only when shower turns on

Video starts with tub running and then soon as shower gets switched on a pretty solid drip starts happening. What’s going on here? Simple ?

Bought our first home almost 2 weeks ago. It was beautiful wall to wall carpet, which my Brazilian wife loved because it’s much colder in New England, and I didn’t mind..except for the dining room. Only areas with regular flooring are the bathrooms and the kitchen.

Removed the dining carpet and existing kitchen flooring, leveled them out and installed what you see here. Was a bit of a debate between whether to go warm flooring or light, but I think we might the right choice.

Small project buy for a couple of new homeowners it makes a huge difference to us and we’ll take that win.

IK CK isn’t the end all be all, regardless I am proud of myself. 30 years old, just purchased a home and paid off a lot of lingering debts.

Before anybody just jumps to hating on LVP, I like it and I’m on a budget..

Hour is mostly carpeted so wanted to break it up and redo kitchen lvp and remove dining room carpet with matching lvp. Just unsure whether the lighter color or warmer color is best? Opinions welcomed

** edit : leaning towards lighter for a few reasons... one, the wife prefers lighter. two, the house overall is bright with warm accents - no warm flooring or walls, just warm furniture/ceiling fans, tables etc. - the layout is great but the dining and kitchen certainly aren't completely closed off from the rest of the house so I feel like making it a warm area surrounded by lighter would look off
