*_Information regarding the recent UGC incident :_*

One of the professors, Mr.Sameer Srivastava is the Boys Warden of the institute.

Today, during his lecture, he disclosed that a fresher has filed an Anti-Ragging complaint against a *_3rd Year_* student ( speculated to be a youtuber by the student body ). The fresher claimed that the 3rd year student had forced him to refer to his seniors as Sir/Ma'am in an unofficial WhatsApp group and registered a complaint with proofs on the Anti-Ragging portal of the institution.

As a direct result of this, the institution is currently heavily involved in this case and the involvement of police is a given.

Our professor also claimed that the faculty body of the institution wasn't aware about the prevalent " Sir/Ma'am culture " of the institution. The institution organized 2 meetings over the weekend with the director of the institution and 15 other highly reputed professors which lasted for about 5 hours each. In the meeting, it was decided that if a student reports a senior for the issues as mentioned above, the institution will not be forgiving of such cases as any report filed on the Anti-ragging page is immediately circulated across every anti-ragging related body across Prayagraj.

Kindly be wary when interacting with your juniors and be very mindful of your language and tone. The administrative body is currently on edge, be it due to the recent protest or a revelation in their hearts. Even a "relatively small issue" or a "playful jab" might end up costing you your future.

Guys , all I see is posts against him saying this and that and blaming him , but no proofs till now which actually proved him guilty....then how , we who knows nothing can be sure he is innocent or guilty?? And what if a particular circle of friends have any personal issues with him and blame him for no reason then isn't that harassment? The people who posted against him also deleted their id so it may also be 1 or 2 people with personal hate over anything....

I just need proof he did something wrong or else we will have to start removing those posts.

Guys just a heads up , the seniors in the fresher group are from the same friend circle/group or like have prior connections with their seniors that's why they are the admins , so don't judge the culture , or seniors here based on some people.

When I joined that group and gave some advice to a junior I was kicked by a admin in the name of " seniors permission is required for joining " even when there are many 2nd years I know without any sort of permission bullshit...just a bunch of jokers.

The latest post of telling the crazy lore of this college was removed because of unnecessary hate to certain individuals. Keep it anonymous and don't target any particular people which brings hate to them.

There is no problem of telling stories or something but don't use abusive words or doxxing them , also remember a new batch is coming what they would feel like.
