24M new to a Perth

Hey there everyone. Recently made the move from Melbourne to Perth due to work. It's a bit different to what I'm used to back in Melbourne and I'm still finding it a bit tough to make new friends since I literally don't know anyone here other than the people I work with.

Just putting it out there if a few of you would be interested in going out bowling or something along those lines. I'm 24 and Male. If you're up for it maybe just comment on this post and then I'll drop you a DM :)

Thank youuu :)

Sharing a personal story

Assalamu Alaikum everyone,

I am sharing this story with the hope that it may inspire even one person insha'Allah and to remind you all and myself first to hold on firm to the rope of Allah and to never compromise on your Deen.

A few weeks ago I attended the funeral of one of my classmates brothers. I went around afternoon time to the funeral parlour and then from there went to the church where the service was and the eventual burial behind the church. All this time, I was conscious of the time as it was getting late and I had still not prayed Asr yet. I did not have my travel prayer mat or anything with me at the time and I didn't feel comfortable praying in the church.

So as soon as the burial was done without thinking twice I quickly grabbed a tuk and went to the nearest mosque to pray. At the mosque I met a person I vaguely knew from years back and we got to talking and he told me about his new company he started and was saying how I would be a good addition and now insha'Allah I will have an interview soon alhamdulillah.

If I get it Khayr and if I don't khayr as well.

But it's just a reminder if you put Allah first over everything else he will take care of you and open doors for you which you never knew existed
