I've been attempting to nail the outro of A7X's "Bat Country" I've got it mostly down. In terms of difficulty, is it hard at all?
My other question is: In the song there are chords being played arpeggiated (Dm, Cadd9, E7, AM(add9)) So why it sounds like each note is palm muted in the song? I play it leaving it string ringing.
I brought a strat as my first guitar. It was that or a tele. Played with the strat for a while, comfort was amazing but dial positions were annoying, The strat sound seemed "plain" to me. I had an affinity tele for a few months and that was my favorite guitar ever, besides the love-hate relationship with the ergonomics. I tried the LP shape but that was actually less comfy than a tele. And it wouldnt sit still on my thigh.........
Since then, I've been playing the ibanez style strats with humbucks. I play alot of rock/metal and alot of cleaner music and jangly stuff. But with the ibanez the cleans sounded OK, but somewhat off. Then i got this semi hollow, and the cleans sound so much better! Bright, jangly, and lots of clarity. It originally came with a humbucker in the neck, but i love how a tele neck pickup sounds.
In each video the picked out harmonies are played a bit differently each time.

How does the temple fade look?
I know the back needs blending but I suck at fading the back. I have a 360 mirror but holding bulky clippers n they block what i'm seeing back there.
The hairline in the back started lower, and I think it looked better that way , but the lack of visibility caused me to push it higher.
