I just cleaned a few of my fans. Including unscrewing two top fans from a top mounted aio, and I cleaned the blades and remounted them.

When I started the computer back up everything was fine. I opened up Forza, which I play all the time, and it was running like crap. Slow frame rate and the noise seemed off. I restarted the pc and it automatically took me to a bios screen with an error about temperature. No other info. I hit escape, audit loaded up like normal. However, not only does the game still react the same way, it seems to be doing it for all games. Not video. Just gaming.

Everything is updated. I have no idea what happened but all I've done today was clean the fans.

Update: I shut the whole pc down for a few minutes. Testing it all again. 1 game seemed fine, Forza is suddenly Optimizing for my PC again, but that might be a good sign. I'll let you know what happens.

Update: It's still messed up.

Update 3: Looks like the other games are now working properly. And only Forza still has an issue. Temps seem fine. It's almost like it rebuilt itself, except just the one game.
