I'm About Done With Comcast

So I just made an expensive and powerful home server just to realize that I'm stuck at legacy tier upload speed. It was my mistake for not doing the research before making the server, but going to the Xfinity store today almost did me in.

I upgraded my modem to the XB8 in hopes it'll give me the upload speed I was looking for, but nope. I went back to the store and had a guy almost talking me into upgrading to the 2gb/s Internet line, and that it'll "double or triple" my upload speed.

I was smart enough to tell him to let me research it before I did that and I'm so glad because that asshole would've sold me a useless upgrade. I don't have any fiber optics in my area so no matter I wouldn't be getting more than 40mb/s upload.

It kills me that someone down the street is paying the same bill ass me from the same provider, yet I'm capped to legacy service because there's no competition around to force them to roll out midsplit. It feels like false advertisement and is scummy to say the least.

Update: So I got in touch with corporate after talking to the first commenter on here. I asked about the 2gb/s package and the higher upload speed with it and he said that I could upgrade to it. He got into my account and then told me that my 1300mb/s package is currently my highest offered Internet in my area. He said he would push my issue up the ladder(bs), and is giving me Now TV and an Internet extender for free, and lowered my bill $30 per month for 5 years. I took the offer because my town has been Xfinity's turf since I could remember, and I don't ever see competition coming so I have no choice but to stay with Xfinity.

I do want to say real quick though. Xfinity can shove the Internet extender where the sun don't shine. I need upload speed, not wider Internet reach for my small apartment, or whatever the hell Now TV is.

Please help. I'm crying!

Okay, so this is technically my second swap/build. First one was great, but this time I'm 12 hours into it and crying. Here's my spec list.

MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WIFI

Ryzen 7800X3D

32gb DDR5 CL28 Trident Z5 Royal Neo

PNY RTX 5070 Ti

AIO - Thermalright Wonder Vision 360 Ultra

Pretty much everything is the same from my previous build, except the 5070 Ti and I bought Thermalright A70 Vision chassis, Asiahorse Dawn Pro fans, Asiahorse Hydrus Cable Extensions(24pin, 12vhpwm, CPU 8pin), and Asiahorse Fan Hub.

-Current Problems-

*GPU is giving no signal to HDMI but mobo is

*24pin extension had no ARGB light coming on (all ARGB extension cables plugged into fan hub ARGB)

*Radiator pump and fans not running (plugged into mobo CPU fan and pump headers (ARGB plugged into hub and lights are working)

-Troubleshooting Done-

*Reverted to original PCIe cables assuming 24pin had something wrong

*Reseated GPU

*Cleared CMOS

*Reseated ALL PCIe cables

I'm so baffled. It's like there's clearly a power problem in the mobo, but the water block and magnetic LCD screens turn on, including all other fans, light, and fan hub. It boots when HDMI is connected to mobo, but will shut off due to CPU running hot.

Can anyone please save me? 😢
