[0 YoE] Gap year, is there a way to explain it on the CV? Or should it not be mentioned at all?

I graduated a year ago and still looking for a job. in this period I voluntarily started teaching CAD to one of my uni’s competition teams (Basically not a paid experience and not officially considered a staff)

Do I mention it as part of my work experience? I know the wiki advises against summary, but in my case do I need to add it to explain the situation?

What’s your company’s dress code?

Hello! So I’m preparing for my first job interview and I’m not sure what shoes to wear. So to get a grasp of things I want to ask what’s your workplace dress code?

I’ve heard that engineering companies are generally smart casual but oil & gas is very conservative. Is that true?

Would I be able to wear red shoes with a head to toe navy outfit, or is that too much?

[0 YoE] How long after the screening interview would you consider yourself rejected?

I had my first interview about a week ago during which I was asked whether I could be able to do the assessment day (which was supposed To be couple days ago).

I have not heard back and the position is still up on their website. I still am applying for jobs non-stop but was just curious how long do you usually wait before considering the silence a rejection?

Is your lower abdomen supposed to hurt when you cough?

Basically what the title says. I feel this stabbing pain most of the time when I cough where my cyst used to be (I didn’t do surgery). Every time I tell a doctor they just feel the area and say it feels tense and that’s it…no further investigation whatsoever

The problem is every time I catch a cold I also have to deal with the belly AND vaginal pain too and it is really bad. Like the pain is worse than my flare ups and I just wanna know if anyone has any advice to help me deal with it better?

cause today I couldn’t move out of the bed for 4 hours…

Somethings I found to be similar between these CVs is how they're all very specific when it comes to the bullet points. As they explain the exact details of how they complete a task in a way that you won't be able to understand unless you're an expert. So far I have refused to be this technical cause AI always tells me it sounds "too academic" instead of describing someone who's ready for the industry. And now I'm wondering if this is the correct way? And if so how does HR and recruiters with no engineering background manage that?(As what do they look for outside of the technical terms?)
Sorry if my questions sound a bit stupid idk where else to ask it
