ON most simple/impactful QOL upgrades to my set up (Mini LCD)

Been using this little $40 lcd screen and InfoPanel for over one year now. Through all the driver, windows and bios updates I've never once had an issue. This has been such a reliable monitoring program and screen. Freeing the real estate/overlays on my main screen has been such a QOL improvement.

Anyone else getting connection issues on first matchmaking attempt?

For context I'm on H3 99% of the time on PC.

First match of every day for the past 2 months has been like this:

Players found, connecting, map loading screen either freezes or load bar get full its but never puts me in the match. I've sat there for 10 minutes with no change in this behavior.

Have to end task the game to exit, start the game back up repeat. Gives the option to rejoin and sometimes it lets me or the same issue occurs until I restart matchmaking sometimes getting hit with a ban. My network is above average, ethernet as well and my PC is no slouch in specs.

Anyone else getting this frustrating issue?

Edit: I eventually get back into matchmaking smoothly every time after "quitting" the very first match.

MSI unveils world's first QD-OLED Triple-Mode monitor: 4K 360Hz / 2K 520Hz / FHD 680Hz

By 2k, they mean 1440p right? I've had this argument before but if that's the case I supposed this would be the end game monitor for now. Looks promising!

TC500 Luxe first impressions

The package was a little large and heavy, took 2 people to get it up the stairs to second floor office. It was packaged really well, plastic and protection foam around every corner and vulnerable surface.

Construction was a breeze by myself. 8 bolts, 5 wheels and ready to go. I added a little lubricant to each bolt for future maintenance. Everything aligned no issue.

First enjoyment was the comfortable back cushion. The lumbar support is excellent. Very adjustable and supportive. The bottom cushion is a little on the firmer side at first but after about 5 minutes I don't even notice it. I prefer a firmer seat personally and this also give me confidence this cushion will last a while.

Fabric and stitching feel great. Breathable, soft and durable. The head/neck pillow screams luxury and the magnetic adjustment is so much better than the traditional strap that never stays put.

The recline and tilt function are sturdy and widely adjustable. I feel very confident reclining and rocking.

I read lots of opposed opinions of the arm rest but find no issue myself. I'm 6ft 175lbs for context. The are adjustable in almost every direction it's hard to find myself limited by it. They raise and lower plenty. Love that I can sit my legs under my drawered desk with the arms raised level to my M&K. The arms pads seem up to par as well, not too soft and a durable foam you can hardly tell by looking at it.

I'm just remised I didn't invest in a quality chair sooner. This chair legitimately doesn't feel like a gamer chair but almost like a hybrid executive/gamer build. No loud aesthetics.

So far, the only con is the wheels don't roll very easy out the box. I'm on carpet in a small room anyway w/o much need to roll but maybe the will loosen up. I will follow up in a year with my experience but so far this is a keeper for sure!

How to apply sharpening filter w/ Nvidia Game Filters? Any advice appreciated

This has been driving me up the wall. The only filters I get available for most games are RTX HDR & Dynamic Vibrance.

I've read that not all games support all NVidia filters. But all I really want is sharpening, not the 20 others. This seems like such a basic thing that should be accessible.

I've done the reg edit trick in the control panel, but it is quite tiresome to set a value, open game, close game, re-adjust value, repeat... Also, it resets the edit every time a driver update occurs.

Is it my drivers/app or am I just SOL unless I run a 3rd party software? Suggestion for such program appreciated.
