shoulder tension issues

This is probably the wrong sub because I doubt this has anything to do with being tall, but does anyone else have shoulder problems? I am 18M. I subconsciously raise my shoulders and unless I think about it I don't relax them. It's created really bad pain and tension in my muscles. I have 2 herniated thoracic discs and greater back pain, but I've had shoulder pain since long before that started.

short ceilings

What are the shortest ceilings you have ever experienced? One time I stayed in a house with 6'0 ceilings on the ground floor and 5'0 ceilings on the 2nd floor.

What’s with the peanut shape?

Most CF cellos are shaped like this, lacking corners on the C bouts. It reminds me of that violin Joshua Bell used to play. Does anyone know the reason for this? Is it just a simplification of the pattern for easier manufacturing? (I know that instruments have been made this way historically, but the majority of instruments have been made with corners so I’m not sure why these companies would change the pattern like that)

My 10 year old Mammillaria

I’ve been slacking on upkeep and it’s being invaded by my mother of millions, but here’s my 16 inch tall single column Mammillaria.

Backrooms is not good

The backrooms movie was ass

love the backrooms. I’ve watched all of Pixel/Parsons’s videos. I’ve read probably the equivalent of 10 novels on backrooms wikis. Kane Parsons, A24’s backrooms movie isn’t good. In my opinion, it falls into the A24 trap of being weird just to be weird, and the story is secondary.

The story is minimal. By the time Clark1 was killed, I still didn’t know enough about him to care. All I knew was that he hated his wife, was an alcoholic, and he owned a furniture store.

The other characters somehow had even less exposition. Out of the total 4 important characters, two of them were essentially throwaway characters. They were employed by clark, and they died immediately without the viewers learning about them in the slightest.

There are multiple moments in the movie that are never explained. Why were those odd breakers there when the electrician visited? Why did Clark go back in to grab the stool after his first time in the backrooms? It just seems incoherent.

Lastly, the final message of the movie is complete bullshit. The man who we thought was the main character goes insane and dies in a way that provides absolutely 0 closure or plot relevance. After that, it devolves into a pointless chase scene, and a corporate section that only makes sense if you’ve seen the rest of the Kane Pixels videos.

I didn’t mean for this to turn into such a rant, but I had a lot of grievances with this movie, especially because I’m so invested in the Backrooms Lore and other backrooms related media.

I'm graduating high school in a couple weeks and I plan to be a professional cellist. I have an opportunity to get my official Suzuki certification to teach book 1 this summer. Should I do it? Will there be more opportunities for teaching lessons?
