Albums where the singer sounds like they're in pain
Been listening to il etait une foret... by Gris for a while and i'm looking for some more stuff with the same pained and anguished vocals.

reddit.comAlbums with songs that have similar structures to the song-
The Black Horse by Bird Eater. I adore the slow first half that makes you think it's the whole song, and in the second half it diverges into complete chaos.

The fact that the titans die?
Just listened to ABITNS for the first time, what the fuck?
Im fairly new to metal, ive only heard 31 albums from the genre, and this is my first black metal album. Wow. This is the most well produced metal album ive heard, and one of the most well produced albums ive ever heard across all genres (ive heard over 500 albums) The soundscape is so dark and cold, which the vocals completely fit in with, and the lyrics are so awesome I LOVE IT. Where cold winds blow was definitely my favourite track it had me genuinely hurting myself from headbanging so hard. I need to listen to more.
Edit: i did not mean to say black death metal i meant black metal 😭
