Krea prices?

I was someone online post detailed Krea pricing for vids with screen shots recently but I can’t seem to find that section on the site. Any idea why Krea removed this?

The word “Slop” has become cheap

Anyone else tired of the word slop? It feels just as lazy as what many say it represents “low effort junk” maybe I’m different but I find them both annoying, is this just me?

I have nothing final yet should post capsule and in engine stills to my Steam page?

Working on my first steam release and wondering

if it makes sense to post some capsule art and in

engine stills now and update when I'm rdy. to

show in game gameplay. Do I just write out the

gameplay and premise? Or is this all a waste until

I have gameplay footage? Just want to make sure

I'm not shooting myself in the foot

I did a little fact checking seems it’s legit but it seems Japanese game devs are going ai heavy

100% is hard to believe but I could imagine it could be a large percentage

Is r/IndieDev still a place to help each other grow?

I’ve been reading a lot of threads here lately, and something has been bothering me.
It feels like we’re becoming quicker to attack developers than to help them. Instead of asking questions or offering advice, discussions often turn into dogpiles.
Whether it’s AI, engines, monetization, art style, marketing, or something else, it sometimes feels like people are waiting for a reason to dismiss someone’s work instead of helping them improve.
I get that criticism is important. Bad ideas should be challenged. But there’s a difference between constructive criticism and trying to publicly shame someone.
Am I imagining this, or has the culture shifted over the last few years?
I’d genuinely like to hear what other indie devs think.

I don’t know if I would recommend sharing work here considering what I have witnessed today, or am I seeing this wrong

They dont look polished enough to keep me interested

https://youtu.be/dmw7iTQvTRo

I saw this on YouTube and it made me laugh a little. These Al generated projects are technically impressive, but they're usually super buggy and don't feel like games Id actually want to play.
I wonder if the Al game dev community would benefit more from building tiny, polished experiences instead of huge ambitious demos. A 5minute game that's genuinely fun probably teaches us more than a massive project that barely works.
Im guilty of the opposite too Im building something much bigger and keep hesitating to share it.

Curious what everyone else thinks:
Should Al devs focus on polished micro-games first, or keep pushing ambitious one shot or “I made this while I drank a coffee!!”?

Best vibe coded game?

What is the best vibe coded game you have seen? Meaning you pay 10$ to play? I’ve been looking for a great vibe coded actual game and can’t seem to find one, I see interesting tests but never an actual full on game I would wanna buy. The Capybara Delivery game was interesting but I wouldn’t wanna buy that and I’m board of it in 3mins. But impressed that was even possible
