Listening to Ravenor Returns, (no spoilers here it's literally just decription)

The blade had been-"forged so hard by the hammers of master smiths, the blade had been knocked slightly sideways in time, so it resonated and shivered against the mundane now."

I may have messed up a word, but thats the dumbest thing I've heard, and I am an expert in that.

What's the dumbest thing you've read in a warhammer book?

I was wondering what everyone thought about it. I really want to like the book, but it just kinda falls flat. Spoilers ahead.

>!The constant replacement of antagonists combined with mostly munitorum standard characters just made it a boring mess. The stock characters would have been fine if the antagonist was consistent. We go from a fallen sergeant, to a cult leader, to a chaos space marine, so we don't get a lot of flavoring for them as characters. !<

I've read a lot of Astra Militarum books, and a lot of Cadian ones too. This is I guess the best portrayal of the Cadian stereotype. Bland, no humor, and so effective it defies plausiblity and narrative flow. Am I missing something here? Is this one you would recommend as a reread? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
