we were losing, they said i was the problem.. they switched and low and behold..

funny how when you know you're not the problem, yet the entire team is convinced you are the problem, suddenly they make a few switches and the problems go away.. 🙄

"wanda is trash".. "wanda is easy".. "you just hold primary".. "literally zero aim".. "you're using wanda"..

almost every player I encounter has this mentality about wanda.. its kind of sad honestly. almost every person thinks wanda takes zero aim to play, when its just not true.. yea, her primary has sticky aim, but that still means you need to track your targets, there's a reason it does low damage.. but tracing your priority targets are very important especially when in team fights and there's lots going on, you need to be able to trace your target around.. freeze, and burst with secondaries which all require aim. its always the same excuses.. "you're using wanda" as if thats some excuse for people to underperform in comparison.

the 2 screenshots i provided is the wanda I play, vs someone else playing wanda. a perfect example of when you actually can't aim with wanda and just hold primary all match, thats the result. whereas I actually can aim, and utilize her kit very well.. the results are staggering.. yet people will clump me in with the "no aim" lot.

wanda is a beast and counters so many heroes, most people just suck with her, and its unfortunate that its that reason she gets a bad reputation.

so tired of pro/streamers poisoning everyones mindset..

statistically, every. single. hero. can be played into celestial. thats top 1-2% of the playerbase. these streamers/pro's who play in eternity or above are literally in the 0.8% of the playerbase.. where meta/good/bad heroes start to exist. but everyone watching these people seem to think it applies to them.. IT DOESNT.

these tier lists literally only apply to people playing in less than top 1% of the playerbase, im so sick and fucking tired of seeing the 99% of the playerbase acting like what applies to these 0.8% players applies to everyone, IT DOESNT!

please grow a brain, thx.

i've played ironman and wanda into celestial for the last 4 seasons straight..

and it's really convinced me that this playerbase has become so poisoned with tier lists, that nobody actually cares to learn counterplay and game sense anymore.. so many people just crutch on meta heroes who provide broken amounts of value for doing the bare minimums.

I have been playing this game since S1, have over 2000 hours at this point, and have experienced about 80% of the heroes in the game, hell I even played cap/punisher/luna/ironman/wanda into their respective top 30 leaderboards.

what i've come to really see is that, most people don't know how to actually play certain heroes correctly, like a vast majority of this playerbase doesn't know how to play heroes correctly, most people will project their own skill issues onto the hero instead.. then call for reworks/nerfs/buffs/etc..

every hero in this game can be played into Celestial at least, thats top 1% of the playerbase, when the majority of the playerbase resides in gold/plat, that means that these tier lists.. which are designed by streamers/content creators/pro players who usually play in eternity or above which is the 0.74% of the playerbase.. to the rest of the 99% playerbase.. none of that matters, every hero is viable, bad heroes dont really exist until you reach eternity.

I take pride in the fact that I can play heroes like wanda or ironman whom are widely regarded as trash heroes, into the top 1% ..it just means that I require no crutch to actually be good at this game, and i don't think many of you who talk trash could do or say the same. you have to work so much harder than everyone else, so when you actually do end up MVP or become the best player in the lobby, its rewarding because you know you earned it despite the slander people will throw at you along the way.

anyways, thats just my honest experience with this game, agree or disagree, game is fun, community is trash.

SW is the most fun I have on a hero

the amount of wanda hate you get along the way is insane. tier lists have truly poisoned everyones mindset with this game.. every hero can be played into celestial which is top 1% , means to 99% of the playerbase.. every hero is good enough. the only people who complain about broken, meta, or bad heroes are the players in eternity and above.. which make up less than 1% of the playerbase, yet everyone seems to think what applies to these streamers/pro players applies to everyone, it doesn't.

wanda requires a lot of foundational work to bring out her optimal value and use the well rounded utility she offers for the team, people scoff, laugh at, and dismiss me when i say wanda literally counters everything in this game.. until they see the scoreboard at the end.

to be good with wanda, you have to have a very good understanding of this game, the heroes, the matchups, and outplaying them to do well, and many people will look you in the face and call wanda trash, it's true she's easy to pickup, but incredibly difficult to contend with other heroes value as you move up higher in rank.. most people dont want to work that hard to get value and so they pick heroes that provide crazy value for doing much less work.. its ironic, they'll never admit it though.

wanda counters so many heroes in this game people dont even realize it.. she can play and adapt to every situation. elims aren't everything.. which is unfortunately how most of this playerbase thinks, bringing value to your team comes in many MANY different forms and wanda does it the best, unfortunately most of what wanda does goes unseen by the team.. which always alludes to her being blamed and called trash when the team needs something to blame.

when you run the lobby with wanda, they'll say "you just hold left click and win", if that was the case.. she wouldnt be at the bottom of every tier list. it never ceases to amaze me how much cope wanda brings out in the playerbase.

how bad do you have to be at the game where wanda is the ace..?

genuinely.. these players are using meta slop heroes which have insane value for basically doing nothing, not only they manage to perform worse than wanda.. i bet these are the same players who will sit here and call wanda a trash hero..

on everything, some of these matches, the hard difficulty AI bots would do a better job than these teammates..

im constantly having to peel for supports, be the frontline pressure AND somehow kill the dps and supports.. and then they start blaming wanda as the problem because.. its wanda and its popular to call her trash.

these people cannot be real atp..

the wanda cope needs to be studied lmao..

barely said anything all match, the team was underperforming in the first half, i had to play front, back, and flank supps all at the same time somehow because people can't do their own jobs right.. and of course.. blaming the ACE wanda the entire match.. they finally make some switches and low and behold the game flips around.. the problem was them all along, but still.. wanda's fault i guess lol?

most of these people don't understand that in order to do well with wanda, you can't just hold primary fire all match.. it does piss damage, you need to actually target priority correctly, know your matchups well, know other heroes well in order to anticipate and outplay them, freeze at the right moments to stop heals or dps, burst down prio targets, or save teammates from dangerous situations.. people are blind to this value and utility wanda offers.. people just love to hate on wanda and it cracks me up so much, its always wanda's fault no matter what happens and the cope continues even after the scoreboard shows in the end.. zero accountability, zero self reflection, is what this playerbase is, they'll blame anything and everything else but themselves.

then they sit there and say wanda is easy, sure she is.. but its definitely not easy to get mvp and match value as other heroes with her as you move up in rank, it actually becomes way harder than just playing other heroes who provide tons more value for way less effort.

its just endless cope from this playerbase..and i love how mad it makes them lmao.

nameless sword has reduced gvg to such a boring talentless mode..

and people actually think they're good at this content whilst doing so..

hurr durr sit on the perim spamming sword waves, oh im being attacked? move to other side, hurr durrrrrr

idk why they give such crazy high value to such a low skill floor tactic.. gvg should be about skill expression and the teams that organize better, and though that still exists obviously.. nameless just reduces the top guilds in gvg down to who can do nameless better than the other. its so damn lame and annoying.

edit:

i don't need to know how gvg plays, we already experience and know what the meta is.. what im saying is that a fanbrella who does a full combo, barely dents some players hp, yet that player will throw 3 sword waves at you and you're basically dead. how the hell is that balanced or fair at all? the effort vs reward makes no sense.

blamed for a loss because 3 supps can't deal with a single blade dive..

idk how the fuck i always end up blamed for games like this, either they're duo/trio'd and they dont want to flame their own buddies, but these 3 clowns couldn't handle a single blade dive all match aside from maybe the fox.. as someone who plays luna myself, more often than not i finish matches with most dmg/finals and heals.. you should not need peels if you are running triple support for a single blade dive.. holy shit. then the audacity to blame cap for it.. the game would've ended longago if i wasn't constantly fighting for my life in 4v1's on the point.. but nope, always everyone else's fault. fuckin hate this gaslighting asf playerbase.

black cat having 1 dash just makes her have to make choices like every other hero does..

it really shows how spoiled some of this playerbase is when they crutch on these broken heroes so much, that their game sense and actual raw skill underneath is just non-existent.

black cat having 1 dash now forces you to make critical choices in situations.. do you use it with invis to escape a bad situation? or do you use it to secure an elimination on a critical target at a time that counts most?

these are choices players like captain america has to make with his dash, psylocke with hers, and many others.. these players who crutch on broken heroes dont want a balanced game, they just want to play the most broken heroes who provide the most value for being practically braindead.. they want to have their cake and eat it too.. well too bad, that crutch has been kicked out from underneath you, time to learn the game and make smart choices like everyone else. nobody feels bad for you.

solo queue matchmaking is just such a joke..

i've had about enough of this game.. and to be constantly gaslit by shitty teammates or duo/trio stacks all the time who take zero accountability, can never be wrong, can never switch or adapt for the team.. is just the cherry on top.

really starting to just outright hate this game, not because it's not a fun game, but the players are just beyond insufferable..
