How to safely contain mobile baby on semi-floor bed

We recently upgraded to a king sized avocado mattress that we have on a 3” bed frame (so just barely raised so allow for proper airflow).

My LO is 8 months old and is now rolling and crawling all over the place. I usually put her down and then sneak away for an hour or two at night.

How are you all safely containing your mobile babies? I know bed rails are a no, and bumpers seem to get mixed reviews and are expensive.

I am looking at getting those puzzle play mat pieces to put around the bed just in case.

More frequent wakes at 6 months

My LO is nearly 7 months old and we have coslept since she was a month old.

Until about 5 months, she was the best sleeper. From very early on she would sleep 12 hours at night and lightly rouse once or twice a night to feed. It was a dream! I could feed her to sleep, roll away, and usually get 2-4 hr stretches before she woke up.

Around 5 months, I assume due to the regression, she has started waking every 45 mins to an hour all throughout the night and requires the boob to fall back down.

I feel like I’m now restrained to my bed with her. I loved cosleeping because I was actually getting sleep, now I don’t feel like I’m getting any restorative sleep.

I hoped it was just a regression phase, but it’s been nearly 2 months of this…

Any advice?
