Thoughts about Adventure Mode

Hello friends, recently i began an Adventure Mode with my Animation Necromancer and yeah, Necromancer is easy mode, no effort, bla bla bla.

For anyone doesnt know what Adventure Mode is, in summary, enemies have +100% HP, 50% dmg and give +50% XP, quests give +100% XP and you and your minions do -26% damage and heals -16%.

Clichés from Necromancer aside, i am having a blast. Idk with other classes but with Necro the amount of HP/Dmg of enemies feels really balances. You can't pull 10 mobs but you can pull 2-3 mobs at once with ease.

I am gonna say pros and cons imo:

Pros:

+ If you can handle 2-3 mobs at once, with extra XP from mobs and quests you level fast, i can't say faster than normal game but i think similar (unless you pull 10 mobs per pull and has zero competition).

+ Mob's HP is high enough to do a full rotation and leveling doesnt feel like Retail. If you want to feel a bit of old classic leveling, this is good.

+ All mobs have a high chance to drop blue gear from dungeons so your gear almost always be great.

Cons:

- You can't queue Dungeon, BG or group up with another players without the trial so in high pop zones questing is a bad experience in some quests with a low density of mobs (I hate all of you Plague Spreaders).

- Not only normal mobs become elite but elite mobs become turbo elite. They hit like a truck and has a x4 HP of the normal elite mobs. Some turbo elite zones are almost impossible to solo and there are almost no players doing Adventure Mode to group up.

- Professions doesnt give XP from gathering or crafting.

Well this is my opinion and you? Did you try Adventure Mode? Will you try it in the future?

Talk us about your experience or your opinion about this trial.

Have a nice day!

Problem with Necromancer summons

Hello, recently rolled a Necromancer and all was fine until level 8 when i learned "Undead: Pacify" skill. Now, if my summons are in "Protect", randomly attack enemies, even yellow ones and another times when i kill a mob they ran away from me to attack another mob tagged by another player. This thing never ocurred before level 8.

I did a workaround with macros but it is a pain anyways, am i the only who experienced this?

Thx in advance for your answers.

Huge disappointment with Headhunter Barbarian

I have to say this is not a complain about the spec itself, it is a complain about some mechanic of the spec that in my opinion is not explained.

The thing is, i am level 17 and i didnt know all the spear-skills trigger cooldown between them. I guess having the same cooldown can be a clue but it didnt click for me.

Now, every 6s i have to choose between skill Who does damage and slows the enemy, a skill who does damage and recovers some energy and a skill who does some damage and debuff with less healing received.

My point is i understand why all of them share cooldown, will be OP if not, but for me was a surprise anyways.

Anyways i am enjoying the class. Any other Headhunter enjoyer here?

Have a nice day!

Question about M+ in CoA

Hello, is there anything similar to Mythic+ Rating like in Retail or Raider.io addon in CoA? Call me elitist if you want but knowing the experience of a player before inviting to a high key is crucial imo.

Have a nice day and have fun!

What do you think is the tank with the bigger AoE damage for Dungeons?

Only in terms of damage, not aggro, sustain or utility, only raw damage in multitarget situations.

Have a nice day!

PD: if your tank is not in the poll is because can't compete in this situation.

Best tips for leveling in CoA

What are the most useful tip/advices you can tell us to level in CoA. It doesnt matter if it is about dungeons, bgs or open world.

For me, one of the tips i follow to not get burned about doing dungeons non stop is to do first half level with quests and the second half with dungeons.

Do only dungeons can be faster but for me less enjoyable. Have a nice day!

Tip for those who level in dungeons

Maybe all of you know this but you can mail the dungeon spoils (and the blues inside) between your characters so if you notice some of your characters are a bit weak you can funnel blues to him from other characters doing dungeons.

Have a nice day.

High level agility mail crafted items

Hello, i have the idea to main Fortitude Venomancer so i read that in CoA, Leatherworking no longer can craft agility mail gear at higher levels and now is Blacksmithing the professions that can craft those.

My doubt is, i checked the Blacksmithing trainer and has almost zero recipes of Agility Mail. I checked Leatherworker trainer thinking i was wrong about the change from Classic but doesnt have any Agility Mail recipes neither...

So my question is, am i stupid or am i missing something? I have no problem in change my professions but i dont find any professions that suits my needings. Please help.

Have a nice day.

PD: If neither BS or LW craft agility mail gear, what professions suits with a tank?

What is your biggest deception and your biggest surprise about the classes in CoA

Hello, my biggest deception is about Ranger not having a proper Beast Mastery-like spec (and really neither class have it anyways, correct me if i am wrong).

My best surprise is Venomancer, i am not the type of player who enjoys Bear Druid type of tank but i am really enjoying Fortitude Venomancer.

And you? What is ur opinion? Have a nice day.

Best Tank to self heal/sustain yourself?

Let's find the king of the tanks when your heal is asleep, stunned, has lag or simply is not the best healer you can expect.

This is not about damage or threat, it's just about survival and independance.

I want to read your opinions tanks but also the healers opinion, what tanks make you bored because you dont need to heal him mostly of the time?

Have a nice day.

Why so many people are reluctant to group up?

Even now many zones are overpopulated so dozens of players fight to tag mobs for quest drops. Because of that i always send invite because in Ascension quest drops are shared to the full party so there is no reason to not group up, it's just slow for everyone.

Then i have two questions:

  1. Am i wrong for wanting group to complete quests faster?

  2. If any of you is the person who doesnt want to group up, what are your reasons?

Have a nice day.

Thoughts about Seraphim Sun Cleric and Dreadnought Cultist?

I was thinking to try one or these. I just mean about their tank spec, not healer or dps. People who tried one of them or both, what you prefer? what are the pros and cons or them?

I would love to read feedback of experienced players. Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

What is your opinion about level scaling?

I did some leveling between some classes and i dont know if i like level scaling. I understand it is nice to have the possibility to finish a zone without overlevel but when you are always fighting green mobs and doing green quests, the gear drops and the quest rewards become atrocious.

I am Felsworn level 12 in Dolanaar subzone of Teldrassil and i am getting level 7 drops and rewards... Whats the point on finish Teldrassil instead on going straight to Darkshore?

With gathering professions it happens the same, herbs, ores and skinnable beasts doesnt scale so if you want to level your professions along your character you want to jump to higher level zones almost asap.

Please correct me if i am wrong. Have a nice day!
