(Does this make sense ?) Whalls Group, LLC - Philadelphia Correctional Officer

Hello everyone.

Is it just ME or something fishy is going on here ?

  1. The Philadelphia Department of Prisons has spent millions on a contract to use "Whalls Group, LLC" in California for their "recruiting services".
  2. The Whalls Group, LLC has hired a group of 5 residents IN COLOMBIA to do the heavy administrative/interviewing work via Zoom etc.
  3. The group in COLOMBIA doesn't seem to know much except the script they read from. Questions that would have been otherwise answered from U.S. Based HR for the City of Philadelphia gets IGNORED !.
  4. U.S. Residents have to submit their life story (application) to residents working remotely IN COLOMBIA to get a job with the City of Philadelphia (Correction Officer)
  5. The mailing address for Whalls Group, LLC (Recently changed) is a $1.1 Million residence in California.

This is a major example of government waste.

The "work" that the Whalls Group is "doing" CAN be done with 2-3 full time in house workers with a decent Ad budget and City of Philadelphia would still have hundreds of thousands of dollars left over !

Indiana PI License: What Counts as a “Related Field” Degree?

I’m reviewing Indiana private investigator licensing requirements, which state:
“A bachelor’s degree or higher in criminal justice, or a related field, as determined by the board.”

I’ve tried getting clarification from the board on what qualifies as a “related field,” but haven’t been given an answer.

Is it common for licensing boards to leave “related field” undefined like this?

What kinds of degrees are typically accepted as meeting this requirement in Indiana?

IRBsearch signup requirements + site inspection?

Setting up a licensed PI agency. What docs are required IRBsearch approval (license, LLC, EIN, etc.)?

Also—do they ever require a site inspection, or is everything verified remotely?

Thanks.
