Picked up my second MagSafe power bank, the PicoGo Air

Just grabbed a second magsafe, the first one's the ultra slim version. It's thinner than I expected, pretty close to the thickness of my iPhone air. And I kind of didn't expect the thermals to hold up this well for something this thin.

Think I'm just gonna carry one of these on any trip under a day from now on.

What office gear upgrades actually made a real difference?

Working in the office for years definitely did a number on my body. So ever since I started working from home, I've been slowly getting more into ergonomics and putting together my home office. I started with a second monitor, then an ergonomic mouse and keyboard. And probably spent way too long moving everything around trying to get it to feel right hahaha.

The biggest difference though has been my IKEA standing desk and my libernovo se. The desk doesn't really have any special features. As long as it goes up and down easily and gets high enough for me to stand comfortably, that's all I need. The cushion feels well-padded without being overly soft, I was a little worried about that before buying, but it holds up fine even after sitting for a few hours straight. The whole point was just to stop staying in the same position all day. Now I usually sit for about an hour, stand for 20 minutes, and switch between sitting upright and reclining instead of staying in one position. My neck, shoulders, and back all feel a lot better than they used to.

Next thing I'm thinking about is adding a few plants and maybe a few other things. Feels like it'd make the room a little nicer to spend the whole day in. What else have you found useful in your home office?

Is a gopro enough for night sky camping shots?

I currently have a Hero13 Black as my main action cam, and an old Hero9 that I mostly keep as a backup.

I'm starting to plan gear for next aurora season, especially for aurora and starry-night camping. While checking my setup, I felt like the Hero9 was a bit redundant, so I was considering trading it for an insta360 X5 instead.

My thought is that a 360 camera might be more useful as a second camera since it could capture the sky, campsite, and surroundings all at once, and let me reframe.

Anyone here shoot aurora or night-sky camping content? What's your setup look like?

A small outdoor walk with my uncle and his new mobility aid

Had a short walk with my uncle. It was his first time trying a new mobility aid, a hip exoskeleton called dnsys X1.

He has been struggling with feeling unsteady when walking, so we didn't plan anything big. Just a simple walk outside on a quiet roadside. I think the support helped him feel a little more controlled with each step, and he said it felt good to walk with more stability and confidence again.

Of course, it was also a bit eye-catching outside, so we got a few looks. But that didn't matter much. It was nice to see him walking outside, enjoying the day, and looking more relaxed than usual.

Happy birthday my buddy. We'll figure out the mom part later

Bought my heybike villain a few months ago. Son was glued to it and said want to try it every time I rode. His birthday came around so... yeah, got him one too.

Just finished assembling his at a friend's place. Now we're trying to sneak them into the garage tonight.

Maybe when mom sees them tomorrow morning I'll just tell her she needs glasses.
