positive experiences only please! 😩

so i’m due to get 4 pre molars extracted and i am terrified!! i’ve read so many things of people saying your jawline and chin can become recessed, you can develop sleep apnea or not have enough space for your tongue to sit comfortably and the list goes on.. I’m feeling so paranoid 🥲 My orthodontist checked my teeth and said it wouldn’t be possible to do the treatment without extractions, so i have agree to do it and signed all the paperwork. Anyone who has had 4 pre molar extractions, what is your experience?

i have my appointment for 4 pre molar extractions which is only 10 days before my brace fitting

will this be enough time for the gum tissue to heal? i can’t get the appointment any earlier:/

how to prevent dry socket?

i’m going to be getting 4 teeth extracted soon, all i know is to definitely not use a straw while everything’s healing 😅

is 2 second premolars (upper arch) and 1 first and 1 second premolar (lower arch) extractions normal?

i thought all of them are supposed to be even to balance everything out

i’m so tired of nothing loading 😩 there’s far too many issues that they aren’t fixing when releasing updates

am i a new or existing patient?

i’ve only had one appointment last year which was an assessment to see if i qualify for braces on nhs. i was placed on a waiting list and now finally have my second appointment for photos, x-rays/scans. does this make me a new or established patient? i have to fill out a form online before the appointment but i’m confused😅
