Is there a way to avoid being stunlocked by a literal miniscule mouse?

Two people have soft rejected me, and I don’t know where to go from here.
I wanted to use a common interest project as a jumping off point to hang out outside of the group meetups but one person said that I should do it myself and the other said “maybe,” before essentially saying that I should build it myself, and I don’t want to do it by myself, I want to make friends, but every time I try I feel like I get kicked down. I know my anxiety is likely getting the better of me, but I don’t know what to do anymore.

I don't really know what this represents, and the camera tool is not good for taking photos so I need to find a better one, but I think it's okay for a first go. Probably could get some life into the ragdolls so they dont look so confused, but overall I think it looks good enough.

No option for 1080p on Macbook Air M2 2022
System update version is sequioia 15.7.7. This is after showing all resolutions, and in programs the resolution also does not show any 1080p option.
Is there a way to force a 1080p resolution? or am I missing something completely
