Anyone excited for the Mifel Tennis Open?

Who’s headed to Cabo for the 2026 Mifel Tennis Open (July 25 – August 1)?

I'm really excited for the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo. Always creates a great atmosphere with world class tennis and lots of people coming from all over the world to Cabo.

One thing I’ve heard from locals and people who’ve been before is to plan your transportation ahead of time. Because the tournament happens at the same time as the usual summer tourism, wait times for rideshares can be longer, taxis can be busy around peak match times and traffic around the venue isn’t always fast. If you’re renting a car, maybe arrive earlier than you think.

Otherwise it sounds like a good excuse to spend a few days in Cabo, watch some tennis, eat some good food and enjoy the beaches between matches.

Who's coming this year? Any tips from people who've been to the Mifel Tennis Open before that first-timers should know?

For everyone asking: it's a custom S&W 686+ that shoots. 38 Special,.357 Magnum and 9mm. Hands down, one of the smoothest revolvers I own.

The Most Refreshing Thing I Made Today

Picked up a loose leaf iced tea blend a while back and finally got around to using it today..........I wasn't trying to make anything fancy, just wanted something cold to drink, but it turned out way better than I expected. The flavor was really clean and refreshing, and it didn't have that overly sweet taste that a lot of store-bought iced teas seem to have.

For anyone curious, this is basically what I did:

  • Put about 2 tsp of loose leaf tea into an infuser.
  • Steeped it in a small amount of hot water for around 5 minutes.
  • Let it cool for a bit.
  • Filled a cup with ice.
  • Poured the tea over the ice and added a little cold water.

That's it......I think the thing that surprised me most was how much flavor came through even after pouring it over a ton of ice. It was super refreshing and honestly felt like something I'd order from a café. Now I'm wondering what blends work best as iced tea. What are your favorites? Fruity, floral, black tea, green tea... I'm open to suggestions.

Bad experience with a taxi driver in Dharamshala market

Yesterday evening around 6 PM I was going from McLeodganj to Dharamshala with my friends (5 people in total) Traffic was heavy in the Dharamshala market area and at that time a taxi driver came and hit our car. Both cars were scratched.

We were shocked what he did after that. He was involved in the accident but started demanding compensation from us, abusing us, threatening us, trying to intimidate us. He even said he would not let our vehicle go forward. We were guests and that kind of behaviour made the whole situation very uncomfortable. I get that not everyone is like this and one person doesn't speak for the whole place. We enjoyed the trip apart from this. But such experiences can cause problems for tourists and leave a bad impression.

I would personally advise anyone planning to visit to avoid this taxi/driver as our experience was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Take care of them.”

Any one else been to dharamshala with similar experience?

The Tastiest Matcha I’ve Ever Made Using Tea Bags

This has become my favorite little afternoon ritual. I made this matcha latte using a couple of matcha tea bags steeped in a small amount of hot water, then topped it with a small amount of warm milk and gave it a good stir. Super simple, but the flavor came out surprisingly rich, smooth, and creamy. Paired it with a cozy chair and an anime episode, and it was honestly the perfect way to slow down for an hour.

Cabo Beerfest 2026 Calling All Beer Lovers

If you are that person who really loves beer, not only for the sake of it, but also trying different flavors and getting to know more about the taste, and if you love the overall experience, then Cabo Beerfest 2026 sounds like an event that cannot be missed out on. The thought of tasting different types of craft beer in the presence of beautiful music while sitting by the beach sounds amazing. I myself am planning on attending this festival, and I was hoping that I could find people who had similar plans and thoughts as mine.

Anyone ever been to this festival and what do they think about it? Is it worth it?
